There is plenty of parking at the park and this place is full of hikers, so you can feel comfortable, unlike some isolated Southern California trails.

There was a live band and we enjoyed all of the characters (the Sugar Plum Fairy, a timber wolf and a snowman) roaming through the park to take pictures with the guests.
