After visiting Rialto, headed west towards Fontana on the I-210 Freeway. As one travels westbound on the I-210 Freeway, you will observe a 430,000 square foot shopping center located on the left side of the interstate. This huge shopping center is easily reached by exiting the Ayala Drive off ramp and turning on to Renaissance Parkway. Exited the Freeway to check out the mall. This mall with a huge parking lot was completed in 2018 and features both regional and national brand stores, specialty shops, and a multitude of excellent restaurants. Cinemark Renaissance Theater is also located within the mall complex. While wandering around the mall, noted twenty-three different eateries scattered throughout the facility. Ahipoki Bowl, Blaze pizza, California Fish Grill, Norms, Pho 77 are just a few of the many places to satisfy your craving for food. Ross, Old Navy, Burlington, and Party City are among the twenty-two shops located at this complex. Stores are well stocked and staff members are customer oriented. Spent an hour examining this shopping center. As a connoisseur of Vietnamese Pho will be returning to Pho 77 to sample their menu in the future.

I like to see young people to do sports.

    They use baseball and softball.

There is also a memory: "In Memory of those brave men and women from Rialto who have their lives i the fight for freedom and justice.

    These kids are really good!

    A must see!

As one drives through Rialto, California, you will observe a beautiful building located on the corner of North Riverside Avenue and 2nd Street. This unique building is the First Christian Church which was built in 1907 to serve as Rialto’s First Christian Church. Architect H. M. Patterson designed the church in the Late Gothic Revival style. Elements of the American Craftsman style were also included in the construction of this building. The church's has a gable roof with a corner tower and plethora of white crosses, pointed arch stained glass windows, and louvered vents. Redwood shingled roof, overhanging eaves with ornamental brackets, and decorative stickwork are just a few examples of the American Craftsmen influence. Over the years, the church deteriorated and was slated for demolition in 1964. The City of Rialto stepped in and saved this magnificent building. In the 1980 this building was obtained by the Rialto Historical Society. The museum is in the First Christian Church School, (located behind the Church) and since renamed the Kristina Hendrickson Culture Center. The museum supposedly has numerous displaces featuring artifacts from Rialto’s early history. Due to the limited operational hours (6 per week), this facility was closed to the public during my visit to the site. Wandered around the building and admired the artisanship of this exquisite old building. Will return to view the contents of the museum soon.
