- Lynne HCarlsbad, CA1 contributionLived in El Dorado County for years, always enjoyed visiting Boa Vista, they are open all year long, fun during the Cherry season, but especially during the fall…I live in San Diego, but I still order their apple jelly, Apple cinnamon sauce that I pour over my apple pies, and apple strudel…incredible…absolutely love this place…Written 25 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SpiritLillyGeorgetown, CA390 contributionsOur ANNUAL trek to Apple Hill always starts at High Hill ranch. The apple fritters are worth standing in line....this year the young girl who waited on us looked like she had a cold, did not smile, and acted like she wanted to be home in bed not selling fritters/donuts. And HUGE frustration at The Fudge Factory. I'm sorry...but I've never had a good experience there. Go elsewhere for fudge.Written 27 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- H0lly1956Corning, CA46 contributionsThis Farm distinguishes itself by letting you see apple production, sorting in person, and allowing photos. It also has good prices and a great History Museum of the area, a giant water wheel and picnic area. I saw a lovely Pyranees dog getting loved on by 4 small children at once .Written 28 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bonnie BelleSacramento, CA72 contributionsMy favorite place to buy fresh or frozen pie. What I really like is they ate not too sweet. Some have no added sugar & rely just on great fruit. There’s a cute gift shop too— you can even make own bath bombs. Also live their no sugar added apple sauce which is hard to find anymore. Gluten free pie as well— also tough to find. Great new addition— flavored coffee flights. Not cheap at $10– but great late morning stop after cider doughnuts at another favoriteWritten 29 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CJMShingle Springs, CA36 contributionsSeveral friends and I went to Hooverville Orchards for a picnic. There is a lovely picnic area with tables and benches and a plant covered top to the area. There is a bake shop filled with yummy treats and also some produce for sale. The owner was super helpful to us...even came out and wiped the tables off for us.Written 4 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BourlingueurAlbany, NY691 contributionsWe drove through Apple Hill the other day and stopped at Abel’s Orchards. There were at least 10 vendors, a restaurant stand, and apples for sale. We bought some interesting ceramic vegetables from a very nice lady.Written 9 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
