This experience was pretty great. Pilot Joe was very nice and knowledgeable we had a great flight. I am unsure of the reason but we didn’t get to go to the Golden Gate Bridge. We flew by Oakland, Alcatraz, and San Francisco city.

The whole experience was fantastic! It was our first time on a Cessna 172 and the flight is just amazing. This was my wife’s birthday gift and she loved it! It was the two of us and the pilot, Rick - so exciting to have a plane only for us! The flight is not scary at all and the sightseeing from low altitude is just mind-blowing! We did the Elite San Francisco Tour. It was yesterday and we can’t stop talking about it! A flyby the Golden Gate, the Pacific Coastline, and obviously downtown SF. On top of all of this, Rick added a lot of value to the experience. He is just a great guide, and flying is second nature to him. Couldn’t feel safer! I definitely would recommend this! Super worth it!

We had a great time on the Black Food Tour with Tiffany. It was a lot of food, so I’d recommend you skip breakfast if you go. We met some of the chefs and owners during the tour and tried food from many cultures.Tiffany gave history and facts of each restaurant and had a raffle at the end. We had a great time! Thank you so much Tiffany!!!!!

Booked the transfer by Carmel Car and limousine service. Carried out the instructions on arrival by ringing the number on voucher. Was then told to ring another number and told them where we were .Told to wait, waited for ten mns rang again different person told car on the way nearly ten mns car turns up . Quite a hair raising journey to hotel good driver but very fast Do not know if she could not speak good English but never spoke the whole journey. Car was clean very roomy and comfortable Reasonable priced.

Oakland Airport is smaller and easier to navigate than the SF, so we appreciated that! Long walks required, note that if mobility is an issue. You can shuttlebus to car rental. If you drive to Napa/Sonoma, it’s faster to have $5s & $1s going thru tollgate. Rental cars w/tollpass not worth the extra charge (we paid $7.50), unless you visit SF a lot. Major traffic slow-downs in rush hour; CA people plan around that traffic.
It’s easy to find your way w/Google or Waze, but there are a lot of very curvy roads, so you can’t maintain a nice 70 most of the time!
We visited friends in Sebastopol, so day-trips included Bodega Bay, Healdsburg, some fantastic creameries (local cheese is WOW), and the Ridge and MacRostie wineries (both wow as well!).
Your experience enjoyment will likely depend on allowing plenty of time to drive, time to linger & enjoy your food/wine, and a willingness to go to a few places that are very family driven—friendly and knowledgeable—such as the creameries.
I would NOT plan a 7-stops-a-day, quick tour of everything. Take your time, enjoy the ambience and take notes for the next trip there. Loved it!
