- Inspiration743571Orinda, CA3 contributionsGood exhibits; the old mill is authentic. The summertime climate is pleasant. Worth the 5-mile drive up the hill from Graeagle.Written 27 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- pbingham1Reno, NV97 contributionsThis is my favorite small brewery on the planet, and I’ve been in hundreds of breweries from coast to coast. Food truck is good chow and avail 7 days a week. Beers are top notch. Weber grills available to cook you meats and eat there. You’ll be thoroughly delighted in the Brewing Lair experience.Written 20 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Madisyn OSebastopol, CA5 contributionsBest beer in the Sierras! Chill atmosphere, friendly staff, great location. 4 packs to go and good variety on tap. - Janice KHalf Moon Bay, CA3 contributionsBest ATV trip ever, and I've been on ATV rides all over the world. We were picked up at our hotel in Reno by Lisa. Then we were created at the ranch by Kevin. He showed us around the great barn where parties can be held. Then Scott reviewed with us the working of the ATVs. He checked our skill set then we were off. He catered our ride to the skill of our group. Beautiful views. Great rides throughout the country side and up into the mountains.Written 21 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kathleen FClio, CA1 contributionI love this course. You have enough tees to choose from to make it more and more interesting. The staff is friendly and work hard at making sure you have a good time. The course is always in good condition because the grounds crew works hard to make your experience wonderful. Don't miss playing this beautiful course. And, don't forget to rake the traps, fix your divots, and fix your ball marks on the greens! Have fun!Written 2 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- bill98524Seattle, WA25 contributionsCame down from Washington State to meet my brother for our annual golf organization. 72 holes in 3 days on the Dragon and we walked away saying "we'll be back."
Have to mention Tracie and her colleague Nick. (I hope I got your name right). These two greeted us as old friends and we could not have felt more welcome.
The course is stunning. There are some bad reviews about the greens but don't let that deter you. There are some rough spots but they are trivial compared to the awesomeness of this course.
Will definitely be back.Written 30 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They even had pre-season hockey on! The staff at the course and the restaurant were all excellent and very friendly. Food and drinks are great for lunch and dinner. Golf course is very well maintained. The course is not long, but it is a tight course! We played two times and the second time we both used our 3 woods from the tee box with better results. We used a cart, but it could be walkable, especially with a push cart. You can park a RV here overnight if you are a member of Harvest Hosts and call ahead to be approved. The lot where you park is huge and it is easy to fine a level spot. You are far enough away from other cars and neighbors that you can run your generator as much as you like. Excellent experience.Written 6 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- John RichardTruckee, CA9 contributionsI live within a 20 minute drive of this course and absolutely love it. It opens earlier than most courses in the Tahoe/Truckee area so I get to add more golf games to my calendar year. The course is always very lush and the greens are tip top shape. The staff is super friendly and has a good local vibe. If you play later in the afternoons at times it feels like you're the only one out there.Written 19 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - cf1616Napa, CA3 contributionsNice room but fell a bit short on amenities. The spa, pool and the little gym are located across the street at the golf course. You will not want to walk over. You will need to drive over or have the staff shuttle you over. Inside the room the TV is small by today's standards and there are no premium channels. TP was on the cheap side, no wine glasses and there was no microwave. The room was clean and the king bed was comfortable.Written 2 October 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joseph MGolden, CO79 contributionsTraveling from Colorado, I called Howling Dogs to see if they rented Mountain Bikes ... Kimberly hooked us up! We reserved our bikes a week in advance and they took care of us. Both rental bikes were in excellent condition and well tuned. They fit us on each bike and ensured the sag was set properly. They also made sure we had the necessary spare tube, air and tools. When I forgot pedals off my own bike, Phil had a spare set of SPD. Nice people, real bikers and a nice well equipped shop. They have advice on some nice local trails ... make sure you stop by and support the local biking community.Written 4 August 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
