- LoridrinkswineGilroy, CA41 contributionsSatori is in a wide open country setting with plenty of tables and seating, as well as umbrellas for our sunny days. You can bring in your basket of lunch or snacks. Family friendly, dog friendly, with great hosts (owners.). There’s often live music playing and you may find one of their sweet pooches joining you, hoping you’ll give them just a taste of your snacks.Written 2 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - christyristyWebster, TX191 contributionsWe needed to drive back to Sacramento from Capitola, but we didn’t want to go through San Jose. I was looking on the map for attractions on the highway and found the Hecker Winery. It just so happens that they are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. There is a lovely area to sit and sip under grape vines. So beautiful! We found several wines to send home. It’s well worth stopping by.Written 20 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Plan to spend 30 - 60 minutes, unless you also bring a picnic. Tables in the shade. - Natalie SSalinas, CA26 contributionsPrepare to enjoy a laid back atmosphere amongst friendly staff. You can sit under a cherry tree or out on the deck facing the picturous hills. Bring a pinic lunch & sip away. I like their rosés, pinot or savinguion blanc. It's a small winery & very casual with low tasting fees.Written 2 August 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James RealiniMorgan Hill, CA2 contributionsAver Family Vineyards is an awesome FAMILY experience! Their wines are great tasting and mature well in our home cellar. We have been members of their Matriarch Club for over six years and Carolyn and John have provided us with several exquisite opportunities ranging from cooking classes at their home to on-line with Truffle Shuffle (a truly amazing experience!) We have enjoyed one River Cruise on the AMA Aver (with over 100 members) through the Bordeaux Region of France and look forward to another next year in Portugal on the Douro River.
When you stop by for tasting you find a warm, friendly atmosphere in a beautiful country setting. Your experience always includes knowledgeable discussion of all manner of wine production. Their weekend wine tasting includes great local entertainment.
We are frequent visitors to this great place to taste John's passion for Rhone region Fruits of the Vine and the camaraderie with the many Friends of the Family.Written 17 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
