Excellent. I found it really excellent but local shops play music very laud. It is annoying sometimes.

Best place for having small afternoon snacks at there.

The Patenga sea beach offers a nice walkway for the local and to the tourist alike. The beach is recommended before lunch on weekends and holidays

Bangladesh is famously known as the "land of rivers" due to its extensive network of rivers, including the Ganges (Padma), Brahmaputra (Jamuna), and Meghna, among others. These rivers play a vital role in shaping the country's landscape, providing water for irrigation, transportation, and supporting diverse ecosystems.

The Karnaphuli River is the largest and most important river in Chittagong and the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
Had to cross the river while coming from Cox to Chittagong by train. Luckily, I had a nice view from the window of my hotel.

Great outdoor day trip from Chittagong. One can stay in bar by town of Sitakund itself. It’s a one way 1 hour + hike. At few spots it’s very steep but overall moderate hike. There are multiple small vendors on the way to buy some local fruits n cucumbers n water or lemon juice etc.
view from the top is just amazing! The famed rolling hills of Chittagong hill tracks on one side and flats till the ocean on other.

This is one of the oldest mosque in Bangladesh situated in the heart of port city Chittagong. This is one of the great masterpiece of 17th century. This mosque is one of the best tourist attraction that can be found in Bangladesh because of its spectacular architectural design. The mosque is spacious, with slender columns, elongated buttresses and intricately designed balusters. The colorful design of the mosque is really outclass.

This collection of tribal accoutrements could be so much more. The museum is divided into many rooms, each representing a different tribe. Given the proximity to the Hill Tracts, this is an appropriate location for a museum of this type. Unfortunately, the displays need up-dating. There is very little to help you figure out the differences between the tribes. But as a catalog of all the different clothing, tools, ornaments, housing styles, etc, this museum is quite thorough.

Khaiyachara water fall is one of tourist attraction which is located in mirasharai upazila of Chattagram district of Bangladeh. It has about 11 trails.

    How to go:
    1. By bus: You can go there by bus from Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. Various buses are available from arambag, Tikatuli, panthapath from dhaka to Chattagram like Hanif, Shaymoli, greenline, Shohag etc. The rents are vary from 480 BDT to 1200 BDT depends on bus quality. You have to let down at khaiyachar ideal school gate. Then you hire a cng auto rikshaw to khaiyachara water fall.

By train: you can go there by train from kamalapur railway station, which is largest railway station of Bangladesh. You would be let down either Feni railway station of Chattogram Railway Station. Then you go to the khaiyachara by local bus.

Where take food: Where you drop from cng auto-rickshaw you see some local restaurants in there. You can give order before tracking start. Price of food comparatively low. But very testy.

Do not through any plastic packet in jiripath as well as water fall.

We drove from Dhaka to Guliakhali beach, Shitakunda. The road to the beach is very narrow and very difficult to pass even one car and one 3 wheelers. So it is wise to park the car in any convenient place and take a 3 wheelers to the beach.

Once their we found mud so took a boat ride; each way only BDT 30/pax. Cheap and time saver too.

The beach is unique of its kind, see the pictures. You will get some small shops offering cold drinks and light packet snacks.

    Lovely place to be.
