My husband and I recently completed this trek, and it was truly remarkable adventure. The trail offers a blend of natural beauty, a moderately challenging ascent, and breathtaking panoramic views of the Dhauladhar range that make every step worth it. Our guide was knowledgeable, encouraging and very pleasant person. He shared local insights and stories along the way. He was well informed and gave us many interesting information about the area we were in. He was very friendly and interactive. I recommend using Himachal by Locals Team on your next trekking.

It was a great call, as we were treated to a wonderfully in-depth tour of the key destinations in the area. Our fantastic guide was so knowledgeable and actually tailored our tour on the day to match our interests. We never felt rushed at any stage, even when our day went well beyond the advertised 6 hours. Our driver was also of the highest quality, which cannot be underestimated on the steep and treacherous winding roads that frequent this area. Absolutely worth every cent we paid. He was super knowledgeable, articulate, and had some great stories about trekking in the region. The driver also made us feel safe on the winding and crowded roads. They may have mentioned that there is absolutely no water in the camp area. A special mention to Gurpreet, our driver, who made the journey even more enjoyable. He was not only an excellent driver but also very friendly and helpful, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. His local knowledge and willingness to assist were much appreciated. - JD_LaksChicago, IL22 contributionsMine was not ten day trip from Amritsar it was a trip to Dharamshala and Shimla for 6 days. When I decided to travel around Dharamshala and Shimla I reached out to Raj Bhatia based on reviews I had read and I was impressed by the service provided to my group of 3. The pick up from airport was seamless. I had requested for an Innova and Abhishek was our driver for the next 6 days driving around the hilly terrain of Dharamshala and then taking us on a 8 hours journey to Shimla/Theog and then dropping us at Chandigarh. I am a person afraid of driving at heights and with Abhishek I was not worried at all as I was able to trust his driving skills. He was very quiet and polite with us the whole time. His hindi songs collection during the long drive was very pleasing to listen to.
Raj had arranged Sushil Kumar as guide for our two hikes - Guna Devi and Triund and I would definitely request him again if I hiked in the region.
Also Raj arranged two local guides for siteseeing around Dharamshala and Shimla who were knowledgeable and made sure we got a good feel for the areas.

The itinerary for ours was ~3000 meters up in 9km the first day, then trek 1/2 way down the second day, and all the way down the next morning! Manu was very helpful and attentive! He also had an amazing guide for us! When we flew in there was a driver to pick us up and take us to the Manu Adventures office. We then unpacked some of our heavy luggage and started the trek! The food was amazing and we were warm in our tents with the correct clothing. Make sure to bring layers as it gets pretty cold at night! Just as a heads up, the way up is relatively steep, so be sure your legs are in proper shape, and the way down can be rough on the knees. He led us for over 3 hours of a breathtaking cycle through forests and villages surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains. We also visited a Mandir. The bikes were comfortable and easy to use. He was able to adapt to individual needs. His communication skills were excellent. We were six, and the vehicle was Innova Crysta. Our Driver Harpreet Singh, 8567861615 is a very good gentleman and he covered all the sight seeing places.
Daljit Singh is the owner and he is a nice gentleman. He was there over the telephone to make our trip experience better.
