- Naina-DamaniLondon, UK994 contributionsWe particularly went to Nairobi Animal Orphanage to be near animals. It is a rehabilitation program for a second chance at life. We were close to lions, cheetahs, etc.Written 2 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- John LNairobi, Kenya4 contributionsA group I was a part of actually had planned a two day stay over the holiday weekend in Kenya. We were informed on Friday (the day we were supposed to arrive) that the property had been double booked by Ragati through no fault of our own, and that our reservation was not going to be honored. A deposit had been paid beforehand.
Ragati was not particularly helpful and instead suggested an empty field as an alternative rather than trying to work with us or arrange for a discounted stay at some point in the future. Given that this mix up was entirely their fault, this was extremely disappointing for service on their end.
We luckily found another lodge in the Aberdares to go to who were quite lovely, but we did all of the leg work on our own.Written 5 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Paul and his team were all incredible - so encouraging, helpful, and just plain fun to be with. This hike was definitely a challenge for me, but Paul and the team were incredibly supportive, encouraging me the whole way.
As others have said, the food and accommodations were terrific, and the scenery was incredible. We were so happy we took the route (to Pt Lenana) up Chogoria via Lake Ellis and Lake Michaelson and then back down Sirimon. Paul is an extremely interesting & knowledgable person; a joy to converse with and learn from over the 5 day hike. We would both unconditionally recommend Paul and all the crew at Polemark Tours!Written 21 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
