- Jacob SPasig, Philippines4 contributionsThis is one of the best shops for souvenirs. From paintings, wood carvings, unique masks, magnets and instruments- this place has amazing and varied choices. The staff are also friendly, knowledgeable of their products and are lovely to talk to. Definitely a must visit in the town of Moshi.Written 26 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Buccaneer70Warsaw, Poland2 contributionsWas recommended to this art gallery in Moshe after completing a Mount Kilimanjaro climb. Expected just another tourist trap. ABSOLUTELY NOT! The collection of work from innumerable, talented artists across Tanzania was astonishing. Hundreds, more likely, thousands of paintings of collector quality from artists simply unavailable in developed markets. One-of-a-kind sculptures in wood and stone evidencing extraordinary talent. Tanzanite jewelry with gem quality stones and imaginative settings, comparable to the Tanzanite otherwise only available at Tiffany stores. And crafts of incredible talent and imagination. Blue Zebra Gallery is no souvenir shop, but rather an extraordinary art gallery with rare and unique pieces on a par with some of the finest galleries in the States. Mind you, their prices are not cheap but rather consistent with the quality of the artisans they represent. Nonetheless, I found I had to have two pieces, a wooden sculpture and an oil painting, both by well-known Tanzanian artists. The pieces were shipped to me in the States and arrived 12 days later, when scheduled, well-crated and in perfect condition. The staff at Blue Zebra could not have been more knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. I will treasure these pieces forever. If you can make it to this gallery, don’t miss it!Written 1 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Only thing is we could use more privacy in the rooms especially for waxing and the wax was rather hot . But overall it’s well kept , very clean and good staff. Thank you Lisa for your prompt response and services .Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. From the moment you pass through the door you immediatly notice the shop was built with a lot of care and dedication. Every singe piece of jewelery and every painting is very creative and one of a kind. Not only you get to explore everything, you also get to make your own jewelery and so there’s something for every taste. But the Highlight of this visit was definitely Emanuel himself. Emanuel is a great guy - very passionate about what he does, a great storyteller with a very interesting life so far and also a very sharp sense of humour. We spent over 3 hours in his shop just exchanging stories, making souvenirs to take back home, laughing and listening to afro beats and we would do it all over again.
If you are in Moshi, definitely pay Emanuel and his shop a visit, get to know him, and I promise it will be worth your while!Written 20 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Their professionalism and organization were top-notch, with every detail carefully planned. The emphasis on safety made me feel secure at all times, knowing I was in capable hands. The guides displayed remarkable expertise and genuine care, supporting us throughout the ascent. Their equipment is qualitative and you can rely on the managers in terms of booking and coordination. Altezza is the best choice for anyone seeking a high-quality and safe mountain adventure! They are far away forwards comparing to any other agency presented at Tanzanian market.
Last but not least, the care they show to their staff. Altezza employees truly live their company.Written 27 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We loved everything about this trip, starting from the quick communication to the first offer that we received. We literally had 1000 questions as we never went on safari before but all questions were answers promptly and everything was arranged according to our wishes. At some pints we received advise as we really had no idea. Elizabeth and Neema assisted us so well that we couldn't ask for more. They have a wonderful team of safari guides and staff members that truly care for each detai. Absolutely happy about this experience and can highly recommend them if you travel to Tanzania.Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Margareth A4 contributionsI scheduled a ride from my hotel to the airport, and the car arrived promptly, in immaculate condition, with a skilled driver. However, I realized I left my phone in the back seat upon reaching the airport. I contacted Kili Taxi, and remarkably, they swiftly arranged for my phone to be delivered to me within 20 minutes, at no expense. This outstanding service not only saved the day but also ensured I caught my flight on time.Written 10 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Georgia DunkleySydney, Australia15 contributionsI booked 6 day Machame Route as a solo female traveller with Kili Team Adventures and their service was truly incredible. Musa and Brenda were just like family - they were so hospitable to me in Moshi and helped me with absolutely everything that I needed pre-trek - including rental equipment, navigating ATMs, and experiencing the local town and bodaboda transport! Having their support was perfect and exactly what I needed for my first time in Moshi. The trek itself was also an incredible experience, so challenging yet so rewarding, and the guides and full team were all wonderful. To top off a complete customer service experience, Brenda met with me after I returned from the trek!! I definitely recommend Kili Team Adventures to anyone solo or in a group wishing to accomplish the Mount Kilimanjaro summit. You will be in very professional, welcoming, and safe hands with Kili Team ❤️Written 26 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patchan34 contributionsThis was our second trip with Maua Adventures for a 4 day safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. This time, we chose an intermediate formula for us (need for an electrical connection) and economical for our children.
Once again, it was an unforgettable experience with our favourite driver. We also had a very good chef who prepared the meals in the camps for the youngsters.
Well done to Maua Adventures for their welcome, organisation and desire to please us.
Special thanks to Jackson, the chef and our driver.
We have no hesitation in recommending Maua Adventures for your safaris.Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Everything went as perfec Copasa Travel sent the phone number of the driver who we called to let him know we were in the airport but waiting for our luggage. The vehicle was larger than what we ordered as I suspect the smaller vehicles were already in use. We would definitely use this service in the future.

The tour not only provided a fascinating insight into the local coffee-making process, but also offered a serene and picturesque experience at Materuni Waterfall. The traditional lunch was a delightful way to immerse myself in the local culture and cuisine.
Moreover, this tour was incredibly beneficial for acclimatization before my climb up Mount Kilimanjaro. The leisurely pace allowed me to adjust to the altitude and the weather conditions, which ultimately prepared me both physically and mentally for the challenge ahead. I highly recommend this tour for anyone planning to climb Kilimanjaro as a perfect way to ease into the adventure while enjoying the natural beauty and hospitality of Tanzania.Written 3 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
