I had such a great time at the waterfall. Baltazry my tour guide (and diver) was amazing.

The day started with a pick up from my hotel in Moshi. The company is based in Arusha and it was good that I didn’t get charged extra for Moshi pick up. After pick up we headed straight to Materuni falls, it was about a 40min drive then 45 min trek to the falls. We took our time enjoyed nature and when I got to the waterfalls the views were breathtaking. The company provided walking stick and also water boots (which was a life saver as it was pretty muddy on route.)

After the waterfalls in the same area I was treated to coffee making coupled with singing and dancing. It was really great.

We then headed to the hot springs. But not before we stopped off at a Tanzanite shop, I didn’t buy anything initially was wasn’t sure but Baltazary was kind enough to return after the hot springs.

The Kikuletwa hot springs were really fun. Such a good vibe. Perfect mix of locals and tourists. With April being off season meant that there were not too many crowds. Baltazary allow me to spend as long as I want with not interruption.

All in all it was an amazing experience I will definitely recommend

I had an amazing day with my tour guide Owen. He was so kind, helpful and funny the whole day. He's a great photographer too and took some great photographs of the day. I definitely recommend this day out to anyone visiting Tanzania especially with Owen.

We (Mountain Goats from UAE) is truly grateful for the team of Zafs tours who's with us during the hike for 7 days.
To our guides Jonathan "the Plant Scientist", Gabriel ( who used Reverse Psychology to motivate us, but it really works), Jackie our Uno Cards Master
and lastly John. To our Cook Mama Zachariah, you are the best with your team Matthew and Masellie - we never lose our appetite even in high altitude.
To Joseph the porter who's with me during the Summit day, I am so blessed with him if not because of his motivation I don't think so I will make it Uhuru Peak, you deserve to be guide in time. To all the porters who carries all the heavy stuff everyday, you are truly appreciated. You guys treated us like a Family. I wish you all the best.
It was wonderful experienced to hike Mt. Kilimanjaro with best team of Zaf Tours.
    Asante Sana🙏.

Tanzania is seriously set up for tourists, especially around the Serengeti and Ngorongoro areas. I chatted with a bunch of companies and heard from lots of folks who've done safaris with a variety of groups. It seems like as long as you pick a company that's legit and has decent reviews, you're pretty much guaranteed a great safari experience with most of them.
What sets Colours apart, however, is their ability to offer safaris that are not only budget-friendly but also venture into less frequented destinations, like Gombe National Park—an absolutely stellar recommendation and a definite highlight of our East African trip. The team's flexibility with scheduling and their insightful suggestions greatly enhanced our experience. For instance, when we considered additional days at Lake Manyara National Park, they advised us to explore the southern Serengeti instead. This turned out to be excellent advice, allowing us to witness the spectacular great wildebeest migration—a truly unforgettable spectacle.
In a nutshell, not only is this company super competent and trustworthy, but they were also incredibly helpful in planning our trip. This was a godsend for us first-timers in Tanzania. Totally recommend them

In February 2024 together with my wife and my adult granddaughter we took a Safari trip to Tanzania National Parks. This trip was promised to my granddaughter long ago, but I had no time to fulfill my promise. I am very meticulous about details when I travel, thus I started to read internet to see what people write about their experience. Among others, I found a few good reviews of the company by the name Safari African Tours. In principle I do not fully trust many of the reviews published on Internet but decided to try.

Now after the tour is over, I must say that not only all these excellent reviews of the Safari African Tours are true, but in my many years of business and personal travels I never experienced such a perfect service as provided by the Safari African Tours and personally by its owner and manager Mr. Lucas David!

First of all, Lucas was always available to answer your question and to give some advice. Before the trip I called him through WhatsApp many times and e-mailed him multiple times to receive an answer within 24 hours. Lucas offered many options for the future travel both regarding the price and the schedule. Important, he was never pushy to choose a higher price but let you decide based on your budget. Since both me and my wife are not young, I chose a relatively expensive (at least for my wallet ) private travel for our group of three to visit four National parks including Serenegeti an Ngoro-Ngoro and having a day hiking trip to Kilimanjaro . Now I must say that our travel was worth of every dollar I spent on it. Importantly, Lucas was attentive and responsive not only before the start of the travel, but also after I paid for it on the first day of the travel. Moreover, after our travel was over, we decided spent an extra day in Moshi and Lucas provided us for this day a complimentary hiking to the Materuni waterfalls and visit to te coffee makers that was one of the jewels of the entire trip.

Lucas solved immediately all the smallest problems during the tour that inevitably arise in a 11-day travel making your journey smooth and perfect. Also, it seems that Lucas managed to hire highly professional guides. Our main driver-guide Abu was more than excellent. He was knowledgeable on animals and on Tanzania in general. Although, according to him, he was on Safari more than a thousand times, he was as enthusiastic as us tracing various animals and driving us to where they can be spotted. As the result we have seen all the main animals. Thank you, Abu! Several other Lucas’ staff we met, in particular two drivers by the same name Kelvin were very friendly and helpful, especially one who accompanied us to the Materuni waterfalls!

As a scientist who wrote hundreds of reviews of the works of my colleagues, I know that for fairness one must add a couple of critical notes to improve the future work. But in the case of Lucas’ the Safari African Tours I do not have any critical remarks. I wish he will remain to be perfect for the future travelers as he was for us.

We booked one day private safari tour Arusha national park. It was a memorabele experience, we were picked up in the morning in our hotel and the guide brought us to the park. We enjoyed a 4x4 keep safari tour, everything was explained perfectly by the guide. Very good organized and very friendly, we saw a lot of animals and enjoyed the beautiful nature; also the walking safari was a great experience. I would definitely recommend Moshi Tours & Transfers!

The trek was incredibly picturesque, enhanced by the delightful company of a knowledgeable Tanzanian guide. His intelligence added immense enjoyment to the experience. He shared fascinating insights about the mountain, its history, the local wildlife, their habitats, as well as Tanzanian politics and sports. The lunch provided was satisfying, accompanied by an ample supply of water. Moreover, he was attentive to adjusting his pace to accommodate my requirements. Gratitude is owed for such a remarkable experience, one that will linger in my memory indefinitely

A big thanks to Nick and guide OZ for making this tour memorable. We first stopped off at a village in the foothills where the locals grow their own coffee shrubs. The process from berry to cup was shown along with singing and dancing. Then we hiked up to the waterfall listening to Africa by Toto and Queens Bohemian Rhapsody( Freddie Mercury was of course born in Zanzibar). Then back to the village for a traditional lunch with Banana beer.
Nick and his partners go the extra mile to make sure you have a special experience to remember. I started out as a customer and left Tanzania with Nick as good friend for life.

Everything was explained clearly and we had amazing guides called Gabrielle and Prudence, porters and the chef and his assistant. The team went above and beyond my expectation and I am grateful for their help to reach the summit of kilimanjaro. I have no hesitation to recommend this company to my family and friends!. Asanti 😁

I recently enjoyed a 4-day private safari tour with Nkollo Tours, which included visits to Materuni Waterfalls, a coffee tour, and Kikuletwa Hot Springs. The experience was unforgettable, offering breathtaking scenery, cultural immersion, and exceptional service. Materuni Waterfalls showcased nature's beauty, the coffee tour provided insights into Tanzanian culture, and Kikuletwa Hot Springs offered rejuvenation. Nkollo Tours' knowledgeable guides ensured a memorable and safe journey, making it a highly recommended safari adventure.
