Great tour! Very scenic walk up to the waterfall. The show around the coffee production, was very funny. A reminder of how much you are a tourist up here in this very beautiful surroundings though.
The driver and guide Hudaifa was a very good companion. His driving was excellent, and the communication with him was easy, informative and funny.

Really fun trip where we got to see giraffes, buffalos, warthogs, zebras and different monkeys up close. We had a lovely ranger with us who told us a lot about the animals and nature, and a really fun guide (Joseph) who arranged everything for us and shared a lot of his knowledge as well. We walked through the Arusha national park for about 2-3 hours, and drove through the nature in a jeep as well.

Erick was an amazing guide and person. He was great at setting a pace that made the long walk enjoyable. We hit a big rainstorm the last 2 hours and he carried all of our stuff as we were in sneakers and not really sure footed.

My wife and I had an amazing time on this Kilimanjaro day hike. We were picked up by our driver, Nick, in the morning and transported through Moshi Town and the Chagga Villiage. Nick was very friendly and knowledgeable about the region and pointed out some highlights along the way. At Marangu gate we met our guide Gilbert. After some quick photos and registration we began our hike. Gilbert was fantastic and we felt very safe and comfortable with him as our guide. The hike to the Mandara Huts is easily the most beautiful hike I’ve ever been on. Nothing better than hiking through a lush, green atmosphere! The hike itself is moderate. The last hour of the hike is a bit different but if you’re in decent shape you’ll be fine. I can’t say enough great things about Nick and Gilbert. They’re awesome. We will hopefully return to Tanzania in the future!

We had an incredible day with Enock visiting the Materuni Waterfalls and the Hot Springs. From start to finish, everything was perfect! Enock was extremely punctual and incredibly friendly. He explained so much to us, always checked in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, and even taught us a bit of Swahili. We had a great time in the car, listening to music and chatting.

He reliably took us to all our destinations. The hike to the waterfalls was beautiful – it took about 1.5 hours round trip and really wasn't hard to do. Enock also asked repeatedly whether the pace was right or whether we should slow down.
Afterward, we learned about the coffee production process and even got to make our own coffee, which was a fantastic and fun experience.

The food was amazing – plenty of it and very delicious! There were always enough drinks and snacks available. At the Hot Springs, we even went for a swim. Enock took great care of us there as well, helping us into the water and explaining where it was safe to swim.

We had so much fun, and it was both an educational and truly enjoyable day. There is absolutely nothing to criticize – we highly recommend this tour and Enock as a guide!

Despite the rainy weather, Nasri helped create a very memorable experience. There was lots of great conversation and laughter. Nasri let us take our time - pole pole - at each location without rushing us. This gave me plenty of time to finally learn how to do backflips off the swing at the hot springs. During the hike to the falls one member in our group had shoes that were not great in the rain and mud ( he was basically slipping the entire time.) Two kids joined us and brought him walking sticks and Nasri took off his shoes and let him use them so he wouldn’t fall as much.
The coffee tour was culturally fun and I’m not a fan of coffee but I actually bought some for myself because it was so good!
He was also our driver and due to a delay waited 7hrs for us at JRO airport!
Although each experience was enjoyable I do not think I would have loved it as much as I did had Nasri not been our guide. He has a huge heart and I’m happy to leave TZ with him as a friend❤️

It was awesome! Innocent took very good care of me during the whole trip, making sure I don’t slip on muddy rocks on our way to the waterfall. Coffee tour was lovely, the guys over there were so much fun. Food was delicious. I highly recommend this tour!

This was our first African Safari and I’m glad we chose this day tour. We got picked up at our hotel in the morning. Our guide, Chadi, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was patient and skilled at finding animals for us to see. We saw a water buck, baboons, blue monkeys, velvet monkeys, elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos, warthogs, impalas, a lioness, and much more, and we even saw hornbills eating a day old bull carcass (lion’s leftovers). We learned a lot. The lunch was delicious with a nice view. There’s a good amount of clean washrooms in the park. We enjoyed the drive and our day. Highly recommend, especially for first time safari.

I had a really good day with Ilfan and Emmanuel! It was very well organised and the pick up was on time. They were very knowledgeable about the Chagga people and the plants in the area and I learnt some extra words in Swahili. The waterfall was great and the walk there was scenic, through the forest. It was 4.5km in total (there and back again). The lunch was delicious and the coffee making was fun! I definitely recommend them.

What an amazing day adventure. A short hike thru stunning mountain scenery to the beautiful Falls. Then on the return to the village we were served a beautiful traditional lunch followed by a fun afternoon of roasting our own coffee and sitting with the locals having some quality fun, coffe and conversation.
    Our guide Elinami was great.

Thanks again Serengeti African Tours. You've been amazing.

The tour to Materuni with Alfa as our guide was a wonderful experience. We were able to plan everything in advance with him and he was especially flexible with our wishes. We would especially like to highlight that he knows all the important places very well and knew how to explain everything. We also visited a coffee farm where we learned the coffee process, with a fun atmosphere. All in all, a wonderful tour with an extremely pleasant and knowledgeable guide. We can recommend this tour to anyone without restrictions.
