After my tour activities in Arusha and Moshi i had an appointment to explore deep on charity activities. I think this might the best charity aound because of their style invoved. We went to visit some children home’s who got helped, something great is when i told that i will do everything with my hand but them they will just direct and guide me. I feel this is amazing because i can feel it. I can stand confidently to recommend this team if not a charity for the charity lover all over the world.Written 30 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BettinaLimpach, Switzerland5 contributionsA long lasting dream came true and topped our Africa Trip. Cosmas from Zion Gate Foundation organised us the climb of Kilimanjaro for Marangu (Coca Cola) route. The price was very reasonable but the tour never the less very professional and of good quality.
Starting with the equipment, we were well informed from our guide Rashid and due to Cosmas connections we rent the missing parts at good price. The knowledgeable guide gave us great confidence during the hike. He has a super team, very well organised, always friendly and charming. Also the food was delicious. Good planning along the way according to weather conditions made the 5 day trip successful.
We truly recommend booking Kilimanjaro with Zion Gates Foundation and support their social and environmental goals.
It was also very pleasant that we could stay with other volunteers at a quiet location to relax before and after the hike not far from Moshi center. We joined other activities that gave insight into local culture and traditions. We took part in school and environmental projects as well.
It was a great experience for us and we wish Cosmas all the best and success with the Foundation projects.Written 20 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
