This was a once in a lifetime experience. Me and my family (kids aged 9 and 12) stayed at the Olpopongy Maasai village for 24 hours. The night we in the maasai boma - the boma is very basic but comfortable, for one night is totally OK. I think this is the best way to experience and understand the maasai culture. The lecture in the maasai museum was so educative, the people there were so knowledgeable, they took us on a long bushwalk and taught us about the plants and natural medicines, about the animals and how they behave. The cook was also amazing, food was super delicious, breakfast was great. The greeting dances were memorable. In the night as there is no electricity in the village we saw so many stars. And the view to mount Kilimandjaro from the village is spectacular as well.
Thank you for the great memories!

This is one of the best shops for souvenirs. From paintings, wood carvings, unique masks, magnets and instruments- this place has amazing and varied choices. The staff are also friendly, knowledgeable of their products and are lovely to talk to. Definitely a must visit in the town of Moshi.

I had the pleasure of encountering a captivating lady named Neylar. She not only assisted me in acquiring exquisite items for my business but also demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge about Tanzanite. The entire encounter was nothing short of a truly fantastic experience
