This marketplace is absolutely huge and bustling with activity. Primarily a dry goods marketplace offering cloths, clothes, accessories, decorative items, etc. I was told it's the largest marketplace in West Africa, and I believe it. Several square kilometers of market area, you'd never see it all in one day. Worth a visit, even if you're not going to buy anything.

The sword was an interesting place. We were allowed to try to pull the sword out. We decided not to try because we just want to enjoy our retirement.

I love love love this mall. There’s an array of different shops and readily available ATM’s. There’s also a huge grocery store with the most friendly staff. My favorite part was the local wines in the lobby. I enjoyed sipping on my palm wine while shopping.

If your into military artifacts and history, very good spot to visit. The guide was very knowledgeable, and I learned some things. Lots of not too often seen weaponry. Quick and easy tour

The museum is an excellent place for discovering Ashante royal traditions, history of the Ashante people and culture. It's a small museum, so it won't take long, but the staff there give you a wealth of information. If I had the time, I would have gone back for a second visit, perhaps next time I'm in Kumasi. Definitely worth visiting.

This was my first time ever in a casino, and I enjoyed every second of it. The food and drinks were amazing, and I was able to win a couple games of BlackJack so, I will definitely be back!

We saw the hyenas but had gained weight because the cage was too small for them. But on the next visit, we were told the hyenas were dead. Sad to know. I enjoyed myself. We met the orphan elephant "Batu" who was rescued and he is quite friendly. But the place needs a lot of assistance and maintenance.

I always visit this town Ntonso with my visitors whenever am in Kumasi. The reason is this, so that they can have a first hand experience with what nature produces which has no equals when it comes to dye. There is this home in Ntonso which is ready to welcome visitors to take part in dye making. What are the ingredients: tree bark and water. The tree bark is pounded to powder and then mix with water, boiled for several hours, strain and boil again until it become sticky black. This is use as a permanent dye and with the 'Adinkra' symbol carved on a piece of calabash, a cloth is beautifully decorated to be worn for funeral or other occasion.Once the symbol is stamped on the cloth, it cannot be removed . It become a printed cloth with adinkra symbols.

I visited Kumasi, Ghana about 3 months ago on a business trip. I needed an Internet cafe to send some information electronically back to my office in the United States. I initially visited a cafe somewhere in the city but had to look for another cafe due to their slow Internet link. When I later visited Gateway Cyber Cafe, I was impressed by their super-fast Internet link, spacious workstations, air condition ventilation, backup power generator, in addition to their excellent customer services. I have since been recommending colleagues who are still working my company's projects in Kumasi
