- Nightingale18London, UK12 contributionsI booked a Key2Persia tour of the beautiful Iran for my parents who visited June 2023.
They visited Tehran, Kashan, Isfahan, Shiraz, Persepolis, Naqshe Roshtam, Pasargadae.
My parents could not be happier with their tour, the friendly and hospitable people they met and majestic sights they saw!
Reza was my key contact who organised everything so seamlessly from visas to sights. He was so helpful and friendly and swift to respond. He answered all my many many nervous questions about sending my elderly parents to Iran given the mainstream media scaremongering, which was proven to be unfounded take note! Afshin was my parents driver and again a wonderfully friendly guide with good knowledge.
This review is slightly overdue but if you are thinking of touring Iran, my parents would strongly recommend it and with this tour company you’d be in good safe hands. I only wait for my baby to be a little older so that I can book it myself hopefully.Written 25 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - L F2 contributionsIt was an amazing trip. We went visiting Shiraz, Persepolis and Isfahan.
The visa was taken care of our guide, the tour we made, was a deep dive into the rich culture and history of Persia. Only blue sky's and the people we met ware all very gentle and friendly. Thanks to the good care of Fari from Inbound Persia, we had an asthonishing and unforgettable experience. Thank you so much my dear friend.Written 3 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We've been in Persepolis and Naqsh e Rostam and was an unforgettable experience.
Our tourist guide Seyed Ali Mohammad Hossein really explained everything to us in every little detail, he was really prepared and explained us also details about Shiraz and the nearest attractions on our way to Persepolis.
We've been also brought to most-tourists-forbidden attractions in Persepolis, and that's definitely a plus.

Our guide had a great knowledge about history and opened our eyes about spirituality and details of Persian arhitecture. We really enjoyed it and would recommend him. Persepolis without a guide are just buildings, but with explanation becomes a part of your life.Written 30 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Philipp6 contributionsA must-do when visiting Iran. Being used to great hikes and mountains from Georgia, we looked for a similar unique experience in Iran and found it in Mohammed’s offer to cross ‘his’ Zagros Mountains.
We went beginning of October for a three-day hike starting at a lovely place called Lost Paradise and finished at his family’s traditional tent - just before they changed their location for winter. On the way, we crossed desperately dry and prosperous green places, could snack some apples at the local harvest, met his son’s school teacher (only responsible for two children!) and several of his family members.
Wherever we went, we were welcomed by young and old, and provided with delicious food from his wife and the locals we stayed with. For the first night, we used a regular tent but the following day we had the pleasure to use a nomad one. Even after our hike, Mohammed regularly caught up with us throughout our three weeks in Iran and checked if we needed any help.
The time with Mohammed and his family was like an allegory of Iran: great nature, great hospitality, great culture, great food, great people!
P.S.: In case of need, he will also guide you around Persepolis and other Shiraz sights. :)Written 15 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He drove us first to Necropolis and explained the story behind each tomb and rock relief. Then Persepolis, and again he took his time to explain the story of the city. He is very knowledgeable, and we will remember this tour. I highly recommend him as a guide for these two sites.Written 9 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carolina M1 contributionMy trip with Shirin was spectacular. She exceeded my expectations, caring for every little detail during the trip. She is very knowledgeable about Iran's tourist places. Still, more than that, she was very open to sharing with me about daily life in Iran and the opportunities and challenges of the young generation in the country. She was fun, caring, friendly and respectful. She always took care of details and how to maximize my experience according to my interests and personality. I am looking forward to going back to Iran. I loved the country, but a great part of my wonderful experience there was because of Shirin. I have travelled extensively and lately, mainly in the Middle East, and this has been my favourite trip in the region. The only sad thing was realizing that all the amazing things I experienced are rarely visited these days because of the lack of tourists arriving in the country:(Written 17 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - felixbartenbachHofstetten, Germany2 contributionsWe had a great time in September with Farshid. He picked us up at our hostel and showed us Necrepolis & Persepolis. He is very helpful and friendly. He could answer all our questions and gave us our time to explore. After our trip he brought us to his family. It was a pleasure for us. Before he brought us back to the hostel we made a stop at one of his favorite soup stores and we had a great take away dinner. We can recommend Farshid as a great tour guide and very nice guy! When we come back one time we will definitly call him again :-)Written 7 April 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ditchthecubeKansas City, MO33 contributionsWe are an American family with two kids near age ten on the 10-day classic tour route from Tehran to Shiraz. Vahid is an amazing guide with an encyclopedic knowledge of Iran, both historical and contemporary. He and the driver (who was also excellent) were very flexible when we needed the schedule adjusted for the children. Every place he took us for lunch had a consistent chicken kebab and rice option that kept the kids fed and normal. The kids gave the trip a thumbs up, especially with the help of a lemonade during the day and an soft-serve ice cream every evening as a reward.
I also want to mention that Vahid has many personal connections with locals all along the route, which helped from time to time when our schedule didn't align with opening hours, etc. He was also able to help us get the visa approval from the Iran MFA needed for American, Canadian, UK passport holders.Written 22 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
