This was a wonderful day trip in a smaller bus/sprinter van which was easy to pop in and out of many different outlooks. There were so many beautiful places we stopped. The driver and host were great. There was a little language barrier for English but they did well. I would recommend this for a great way to see South of Salta.

We took this tour that lasted the whole day. We felt it was worth it as we had the opportunity to visit several villages along the way. They are villages surrounded by mountains and when you arrive you will notice that many have establishments specifically to sell souvenirs and gifts to tourists. On the one hand it was good because we stopped at several places and when we arrived at them they gave us the freedom to wander around a little. But on the other hand, because there were so many short stops (about 30 minutes), it meant that we didn't have time to do almost anything and we didn't really know what to do because we were afraid of going too far and being late getting back to the transport. Another positive point is the tour guide who told stories along the way. At the lunch stop, they took us to a specific restaurant along with the whole group. I paid around 12 thousand pesos for a dish with starter, main course and dessert. I purchased the tour on their website.

Our tour guide Angie and driver Mauricio were phenomenal. She in particular brought a native instrument to play and a Salta poncho and explained in details all about them. Very knowledgeable of the area. She also gave tips regarding the “Peña’s” Salta local restaurants were locals play music and how to avoid tourist traps.

Although this is a VERY long day , it was good. The guide went out of his way to keep us informed and engaged, and was very helpful at each destination. Eg when in Pumacara we just wanted coffee and a stroll and he was very accommodating re informing us of when the bus was due to leave etc. And the sites are fabulous. I hadn’t realised we would TFr to a 4x4 for the drive up to Hornocal, which was amazing. The driver was great, and the views …… wow! A long but very good day. 4 days later, when sat in Salta having a drink, our guide spotted us and introduced us to his wife. A really good friendly service.

The tour was great! tour guides were knowledgeable and they gave us enough time during stops to enjoy the landscapes 😊 they also took pics for us. I recommend Tiamar for tours! I minus one star because they switched the day itinerary and didn’t let us know in advance

    Great landscapes. Very informative tours.

On this Tour to "Cafayate" we had a very friendly bus driver-tour guide (even spoke five languages) and had a great knowledge of geology (presumably studied). This tour was a great experience.

Did the Salta to Cachi to Cafayate to Salta loop. Lots of driving through gorgeous country. Dinner at Bistro de Cachi was excellent. Loved Cafayate and Porvenir Winery. Salta has a lively downtown that we enjoyed.

Rydeu Transfer provided a wonderful experience for my journey from Hyderabad to Warangal. The driver was punctual and very professional. The car was clean, and the ride was comfortable. The booking process was straightforward, and I received timely updates about my ride. The service was reliable and made my trip stress-free. I highly recommend Rydeu Transfer for anyone looking for quality transportation services.

Just got back from the Cafayate, Cachi, and Salinas tour with De Tiamar Travel. Despite some unforeseen circumstances, it turned out to be an experience I'd readily recommend.

Due to roadblocks and protests in Jujuy, we unfortunately couldn't visit Salinas as planned. De Tiamar Travel, however, promptly offered us the option to reschedule or receive a refund. I won't deny, getting the refund processed was somewhat tedious and complicated by the exchange rate. But they handled it efficiently, and we got our refund via TripAdvisor without any issues.

Pushing that aside, the rest of the trip was fantastic. The first two days spent in Cafayate and Cachi were a visual feast. We journeyed through spectacular landscapes in comfortable buses and everything was well-organized.

Our guide in Cafayate, Federico (hope I got the name right), was terrific. His enthusiasm and knowledge made the tour even more enjoyable.

All in all, despite missing Salinas, I'd still recommend this tour. De Tiamar Travel showed professionalism and the experience in Cafayate and Cachi was truly memorable. If you're looking to explore the scenic beauty of Argentina and fortunate enough to get Federico as your guide, you're in for a remarkable journey.

We had an amazing day and this tour was so much more than we had expected. Beautiful, amazing scenery with a great guide Guille whose story telling and information was detailed, enthusiastic and entertaining.
We are qualified sommeliers and had learnt about Cafayate and the highest vineyards in the world and it had been a dream to come here. The wine didn’t disappoint and the wine museum is also not to be missed.

We have travelled to over 75 countries and this part of the world in our opinion is a real gem. This tour is all day and will blow all your senses. We thought it was real value for money and we would definitely recommend it.
