Lovely old train station for a train buff. Very busy. There are three stations next to each other. Two are old and worth visiting

We visited this old station now beautifully restored. Many of the original fittings, floor and wall panels are intact and cleaned up. Was a busy station as it was connected to the subway as well. Lots of places to eat in and around. If you like to see old stations well used, this should be on your list.

For about 25pence or 30centimes euro, you can take from Retiro to Tigre or from Retiro to Mitre then tourist train for Delta costing just over a euro (20$). (see my Tren de la Costa review). Clean, new trains air conditioned and very cheap transport.
Delta boat trips well worth doing and this is your cheapest way to get there.
