Couldn't get the app to work (had the well-known issue of not receiving the messaged pin when signing up, sigh). But I could sign up on the web and book a remis from AEP which I did on two occasions. I could even see my bookings on the app and show that at the counter on arrival. All went smoothly (even though the agent seemed a bit perplexed when I showed the page on the app that had my confirmation).

While we lined up for taxi at the Buenos Aires cruise terminal, I saw someone standing around with a taxi sign and asked him for the price for airport. He quoted US$60 and said to me that there is a taxi waiting for me on the far side of the road. I told him that I wasn't interested. He then said $50 and I told him no. We continued to wait in the line and he went up to the lady directing taxi when it was about our turn. The lady came and said to me that our fare to the airport was $50 and pointed the taxi to the same taxi that was parked at the far end. I said to her the quote was wrong and we didn't want to go on that taxi. She then said we can pay her $40 as the extra $10 was for luggage. We paid her, the driver came and put our bags in the trunk. When we got to the airport, the driver demanded that we pay another US$10 or he won't open the trunk. At the end, we ended up paying $50 or risk missing the flight.

Had no clue how to get to Carlos Paz from Cordoba.By the way only speak English and one or 2 words of Spanish.Saw the Cordoba bus station so went there with family.Place is busy but really well organized.Went to ticket counter and bought tickets (ARS 120 per ticket.Driver and conductor very polite( infact Argentines in general are very polite).Bus pulled off on time and within the scheduled hour we were in Carlos Paz.Yeah the bus could do with a deep clean but it was efficient and safe.

There are good sides and bad ones . Starting with the good . The busses are cheap , are on time , they are safe , the seats are comfortable ( cama ) and they go everywhere . If you want to fly from Salta to Iguazu or Resistencia , you have to do it via Buenos Aires , which is a bore . So we took the bus .
Not all busses are equal , the first had a very dirty toilet , the AC made a lot of noise and the lights over the seats did not work , so you cannot read . The second was very neat , lights were working .
Now the negative side : the second bus stopped a lot of times and each time people get on with a lot of energy talking and laughing before they settle down to sleep . This goes on all night . From 8 pm to 1 pm American blockbusters are shown type Thorn / Troy in Spanish . Loud . And the bus is REALLY COLD . I came prepared : t shirt , shirt long sleeves , pants , sweater and a downjacket and a sjawl . But sitting in 11 degrees for 10 hours was too much .
So it is certainly a good way to travel for some , nut not for me .

They drove us from San Miquel de Tucumán to Mendoza in a broken bus after a crash, they used the same bus. We had to leave our cama seats for semi-cama and didnot get any refund. Also the help after a serious crash was a disaster. No water, no help, no communication, nothing. The security glass was everywhere in the bus while we were driving after the crash. Dont take this company if there are other options.

Someone went through my bag in the night and stole items, there was also no water on the bus and the ticket said we would get a meal and we didn’t.
