- Robert ORotterdam, The Netherlands6,437 contributionsThere are several bodies of water in the Palermo section of town, of which one is explicitly called a lake. It is Lago de Regatas towards the north. Other smaller water surfaces are in the Parque 3 de Febrero (also called Bosques). The east part of Palermo used to be wetlands that were sometimes flooded by de la Plata river. Nowadays the area is flattened and made suitable for recreation. In the park near the rose garden there is a boat rental.Written 17 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert ORotterdam, The Netherlands6,437 contributionsRegatas lake is in the green buffer zone between Newbery airport and the city towards the northeast. The area is also known as Bosques de Palermo. Ideal for sports like cycling and running as there are both trails and asphalt roads around the lake (2 km circumference). Rather crowded during weekends, but most people behave in a social way and there is enough space.Written 9 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
