Guide was wonderful and knew place like back of his hand. - Ryan CBoston, GA20 contributionsI’m an avid traveler but have never done a review but I owe it to Andrew and to my fellow travelers to write the following. Andrew’s instincts, experience and knowledge are impressive. He was highly recommended by very experienced birding friends of my wife. Our entire family joined him on a day trip from Malelane Gate after hearing how well the birding went. He’s the guy to trust. He knows every nook and cranny of the park and he knew where to find the wildlife. His stories and instruction kept our teens and preteens’ attention as we waited for the wild dogs to appear (as he felt they would) and as we sat and listened to the grunts of the anxious hyenas who had treed a leopard with a fresh kill. - Martijn D3 contributionsThis has been the best day of my Mozambique trip. I stayed in Maputo and got picked up from my accomodation. Don't be afraid of an early pick-up (5 AM). It will all be worth it!
Border cross was smoth as. No worries for a EU-citizen.
Kruger is amazing, don't let other people tell you otherwise. There might be a high amount of 'common' animals, but still, it is an amazing site for my first real safari. We saw: heaps of: elephans/giraffes/wildebeest/zebras/impalas/monkeys/hippo's. We were lucky to catch a lion with 3 chubs, which is not a common thing.
Service from Maputo tours was good, I was accompanied by a very experienced ranger who took its responsibility to spot as much animals as possible in one day. Even after 5 hours of driving around (in 38 degrees). The camp site is well maintained, tents are beautiful and food was delicious and the guys were very friendly and welcoming. The game drives was excellent with very knowledgeable rangers. He knew all the animals, all the spots, and he did his absolute best to try to show us all animals of interest: We saw 3 of the 5 Big Five animals, and 3 of the Ugly 5 too ! He was also very flexible and communicated with the whole group, in order to make sure that we are all getting the best of the experience. - Ana P1 contributionThey have been promising to refund 4.400 Rand since December. Then, in the last few weeks they did not answer the phone and disappeared from WhatsApp.
They also canceled the day before a tour we had booked to the Sabi Sand reserve during the festive season, meaning other agencies were already fully booked and we lost a day of our holiday.

Raher than wasting valuable time driving to and from Kruger, you get to stay inside the park in comfortable tents with proper beds, with electricity for charging phones etc. They cook you a delicious meal and set it up with a lot of ambience. - Daydream28118410 contributionsWe were thoroughly impressed with Tours Maputo and On Safari Africa for this amazing excursion, including the communication, amenities, and the people. Our driver, George, picked us up in Maputo at our apartment in a clean, well-conditioned van, and he was very courteous and considerate. During the drive to and from Kruger, he helped us navigate through the border crossing, which made the process go much smoother.
Once we arrived in Kruger, George handed us over to our Kruger tour guide for the next 2-days, Doctor, who was absolutely fantastic!!! Doctor not only had an amazing knowledge of all of the animals and plants within the park, but he was also fun, considerate, and attentive to his guests. He made sure we got to see everything we wanted to, including four of the Big Five (no cheetah sitings on this trip, maybe next time). For anyone lucky enough to have Doctor as their guide, they are in for a treat!!!
Our accommodations at the Crocodile Kruger Safari Lodge were first class, with an amazing view, beautiful and comfortable facilities, and delicious dinner. Since we had an early morning departure on day 2, they even packed us a to-go breakfast bag for the morning.
We just can say enough good things about this trip. Excellent job by Tours Maputo and On-Safari. Lucky is an excellent guide with vast knowledge of the park from little insects to plants and the big 5. Lodging was great and the food delicious

The safari tour (we have seen lion, rhino, etc.. not leopard), the guide Mylord (very kind and passionated by his job), the camp was very beautiful and clean. The panoramic tour was beautiful.
And more than everything, we went at Kruger with my wife for my birthday and Nieto, manager, invites us at the restaurant to celebrate my birthday, with a night offered in a very good hôtel in Mbombela.
