- Paul M30 contributionsVerner, who was our guide, was very kind and friendly while also being simply a wizard with respect to his knowledge about the park, animals and everything in between. He knew all the animals, all the spots, and he did his absolute best to try to show us all animals of interest: We saw 3 of the 5 Big Five animals, and 3 of the Ugly 5 too ! He was also very flexible and communicated with the whole group, in order to make sure that we are all getting the best of the experience. Raher than wasting valuable time driving to and from Kruger, you get to stay inside the park in comfortable tents with proper beds, with electricity for charging phones etc. They cook you a delicious meal and set it up with a lot of ambience. - Martijn D3 contributionsThis has been the best day of my Mozambique trip. I stayed in Maputo and got picked up from my accomodation. Don't be afraid of an early pick-up (5 AM). It will all be worth it!
Border cross was smoth as. No worries for a EU-citizen.
Kruger is amazing, don't let other people tell you otherwise. There might be a high amount of 'common' animals, but still, it is an amazing site for my first real safari. We saw: heaps of: elephans/giraffes/wildebeest/zebras/impalas/monkeys/hippo's. We were lucky to catch a lion with 3 chubs, which is not a common thing.
Service from Maputo tours was good, I was accompanied by a very experienced ranger who took its responsibility to spot as much animals as possible in one day. Even after 5 hours of driving around (in 38 degrees). He gave us a lot information about all sights we visited, he was full of energy and we loved this day. When we told him that on coming Monday my 6year old would celebrate her birthday he sang her a birthday song, bought her a gift from a local market, even had the ladies in the restaurant sing her the birthday song, in a special African way (!), and make a pancake for her, that was a great surprise for all of us! The camp site is well maintained, tents are beautiful and food was delicious and the guys were very friendly and welcoming. The game drives was excellent with very knowledgeable rangers. Andrew’s instincts, experience and knowledge are impressive. He was highly recommended by very experienced birding friends of my wife. Our entire family joined him on a day trip from Malelane Gate after hearing how well the birding went. He’s the guy to trust. He knows every nook and cranny of the park and he knew where to find the wildlife. His stories and instruction kept our teens and preteens’ attention as we waited for the wild dogs to appear (as he felt they would) and as we sat and listened to the grunts of the anxious hyenas who had treed a leopard with a fresh kill. - Jared HGrand Rapids, MI241 contributionsWe booked Tours Maputo for a combo tour of Eswatini plus 2-day Kruger Safari. It was a great time! Our guide, Alfainho (Alfa), was very kind and made us feel comfortable. We also loved the provided snacks on board the van!! The tour itself was great, with us feeling like we saw everything we wanted to see in both Eswatini and on safari in Kruger. We even saw a leopard for the first time! The Crocodile Lodge in Kruger we stayed in was also amazing, with some of the best food on the trip. My only complaint was that the quote we got for an airport transfer was obscenely expensive ($240 for a 15-minute taxi ride for 12 people as they have a set rate of $20 per person, even though we would all be in the same van). We ended up using a different company for the transfers, but the tour itself was priced competitively. - Ana P1 contributionThey have been promising to refund 4.400 Rand since December. Then, in the last few weeks they did not answer the phone and disappeared from WhatsApp.
They also canceled the day before a tour we had booked to the Sabi Sand reserve during the festive season, meaning other agencies were already fully booked and we lost a day of our holiday.

- Stephen A2 contributionsThe safari was beyond amazing--I saw lions less than five feet from our vehicle, a leopard strolling down the road, and so many other animals that I couldn't keep track. The lodge itself was incredible as well.
But the best part was easily my trip organizer, Jakes. He communicated everything in a timely manner and provided every detail possible. Most notably, when we had to cut my safari a day short due to events out of everyone's control, Jakes made sure I got refunded for my last day.
