- Karen BPhoenix, AZ69 contributionsWalked around the canal and enjoyed the shops. T-Shirt shop very nice - single owner and she makes the T-shirt herself. Fun timeWritten 23 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Paul FColumbus Oh91 contributionsThis Community park on the island was so exquisite to visit with beautiful trees, boat launches and even beaches at the end to swim in the lake.Written 8 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Victor BTucson, AZ597 contributionsThis is a pretty big park, with several trails. My first observation was that the trails were pretty poorly marked. You would follow the Yellow signs for the Sara’s Crack hike (arguably one of the coolest ones) but we would go from yellow 2, to yellow 3, to yellow 8 markers for no apparent reason and spent most of the hike not sure if we were on track or off track. That said, the “crack” is a must do in the Havasu area. It’s mostly very easy with a bit of a difficult “bouldering” segment in the heart of the crack that some less athletic or old people will struggle with. On the return, take the “overpass” which is easier that going back through the crack a second time. Look for wildlife as we saw three long horn sheep quite close to us. Of course, watch for rattlesnakes. We did not see one. Finally, there was an unfortunate couple that locked their car and went for a hike and it was broken into. Windows bashed in. They left their phones and wallets in the car and they were taken. So….don’t leave any valuables in the car. I don’t think this happens often, but it definitely happens!

The only reason for the 4stars is that the bathrooms could use some work.Written 5 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- lthomas006Tucson, AZ34 contributionsWe arrived at this resort after a 6 hour car ride from Tucson. When we arrived to check in, we were told that there was a power outage. The casino was closed, and because of the high winds, the ferry was not running. They cheerfully cancelled our reservation, and we travelled another hour to Havasu City in search of another place to stay.
I felt some type of notice should have been posted on their website warning of weather related ferry issues.
The ferry to London Bridge was the main reason I chose this resort.Written 23 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Judith SCalgary, Canada11 contributionsA quiet space along McCullough Blvd. There are a great deal of books, audio media, magazines and newspapers as well as a bank of a good number of computers for anyone’s use. There is an ample sitting area with tables and plugins for electronic devices. There is no fee for a library card. The staff is very helpful and there is an electronic machine for quick check out. The staff will also check out books. There is an area of used books for sale. They have a separate children’s area. They have a self serve area of free jig saw puzzles where you can pick up a puzzle or drop one.off. There are clean restrooms available. If you cannot find a book you want the staff will search other libraries and order it for you. There is an outside drop off for books and audiobooks for after hour drop offs.Written 30 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Vikki A7 contributionsWhen my grandkids are here this is number one on their list of things to do! Facility is very well staffed and is accommodating for all visitors. I do wish they had more open swim times but when they do I can go sit in one of the hot therapy pools while my kiddos have a blast in the wave pool/Olympic size swimming pool, huge water slide or the splash pad. Never a shortage of life guards eitherWritten 5 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- lthomas006Tucson, AZ34 contributionsWe stopped at this park in the morning for one last close up look at the lake before returning home. Enjoyed seeing how clean and beautiful it was. - Zoom_GottiHenderson, NV1,347 contributionsPark and enjoy the nature trail that juts out on this peninsula into the lake. Walk about a mile and a half on both paved and then dirt/gravel track. You'll find a couple of fishing platforms as well as benches along the trail. There's signage along the way describing the lake's uses, construction, and wildlife. If you reach the end point, the bench installed there allows you a wonderful view of the lake and wildlife (birds). Also, behind the visitor center you'll find a ramp for kayak and canoe launches. And a small pupfish pond. Carry your own water. And take care about the rattlers. Be careful on your entry and exit onto Highway 95, particularly if you need to turn in front of of oncoming traffic.Written 5 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Janet RSaint Augustine Beach, FL29 contributionsVery fun hike even though the trail markings are poor. The crack was really cool and easy to navigate through. We hiked back on the blue trail but didn’t see any wildlife. Overall, a very enjoyable day!Written 8 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
