- RMareeSun City, South Africa1 contributionWe really enjoyed our visit to the museum with two boys aged 6 and 3. I did however have hayfever when we walked out. The museum cleanera needs to step up and do their work thoroughly!Written 31 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Dassie Trail is a wonderful meander along the river. The path is flat and fairly well maintained all the way to the end.
Everyone enjoyed a picnic and swim on the river at the end of the trail.Written 22 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Owner couldn’t have been more welcoming and took time out to talk to the little ones about the snakes and lizards.Written 15 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dotts0908Nairobi, Kenya1,296 contributionsIf you're a golfer, this is paradise... The views are stunning. It's windy and gets really cold so be prepared. Like any hotel in the rural areas, it is very much a DIY: no help with luggage and you're directed to the rooms so you figure it out. The breakfast is A+. The spa is great and the masseuse excellent. The best kept gem is the fully equipped gym!! Nevertheless a beautiful place! Consider hiring a vehicle as it's really far from everythingWritten 28 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Vermeulens1976-2008Great Brak River, South Africa14 contributionsThe gallery is located at the back of Marlene's house. The gallery contains some of her best work and showcases her unique artistic development process. Copies of these are for sale in various sizes at very reasonable prices. The garden offers some additional interesting features to create a beautiful scene for an hour or two. Pleasantly surprised by the work and friendly reception received.Written 26 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Siseko Y6 contributionsthis place gives visitors and locals a glipse to the long and rich Xhosa culture, from the moment you arrive you get Royal welcome through song and dancing. the hosts went out of their way to give more information into the culture, rutuals and traditions. The local cuisine was my personal highlight, with the traditional beer.Written 17 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
