What travellers are saying
- Jerome VGlendale, AZ9 contributionsWe Iove Westgate. It's our go to place for food, fun, and elegance. We go any day of the week. Beautiful atmosphere. Food has always been on point. Service is always friendly and quick. Parking has been no problem. We mostly Uber because we know we will drink. Good adult fun. Two Desert Diamond casinos less then 3 miles away. Burros n Fries, delicious. Try the shrimp and Carne asada burrito!Written 2 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - duffer47Casa Grande, AZ669 contributionsTraffic was nuts and although we got parking pass it was a hike to stadium. Handicap parking was full and supposedly a shuttle but never located. They handled the crowd well. We ended up with seats way way up. Not great for this old man who’s getting knee replaced in couple weeksWritten 14 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Terre LSan Diego, United States18 contributionsThe nicest arena I've ever been in - it was completely full, estimated 20K people, and very clean and orderly, even the security checkin was smooth, and the doors opened right on time. Would definitely attend another event there. The Westgate Entertainment Center where the arena is located was awesome.Written 4 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pamharri50Casper, WY58 contributionsAttended yesterday’s baseball game. To start with they didn’t open the gates until 15 minutes past scheduled opening time. Get up to security check. I think these guys are trying to make up for lax law enforcement in LA. They were extremely rude, condescending. I was carrying in pretzels & peanuts. A big no no. I also had spray sun block. I guess you can make a bomb out of that stuff. How many 73 year old grandmas have that kind of knowledge? In the trash with snacks. Get your wallet out & wait in huge line for the very limited offerings of food. Dried up hot dogs & $10 lemonade. Maybe some year old cotton candy. Luckily the game was great. Just wishing for polite treatment & healthy snacks.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - wisteriabarbStilwell, KS693 contributionsLovely employees. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The preserve was easy to maneuver, even for handicapped carts. Love seeing Petroglyphs when I travel.Written 18 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- John RAnoka, MN1,848 contributionsGreat free place to visit. Beautiful aroma in the spring.
This has walking access from the nearby park and the library if you go there to see the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden.
Old buildings with very good explanations and signs that are in good shape. They also have some QR codes so you can watch a corresponding YouTube video or get more information on the buildings. Peafowl and pigeons roam the area and I did see a few rabbits as well.
The buildings were closed when we went, but there is plenty to see by walking around. They did have a free restroom on site as well as one in the park.
They do have tours of the ranch house on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from October to May. There is an onsite office that is staffed by the Glendale Arizona Historical Society from 1000-1300 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.Written 26 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Music on every corner and in between. People were everywhere, and very friendly. It was a very nice ending to the Holiday season. Join them next year.Written 18 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- safio64Riyadh, Saudi Arabia846 contributionsThis is a large well-maintained, outdoor outlet mall featuring a variety of outlets and regular stores for shopping with an ample parking area. I especially enjoyed the POLO and T.H. & Sketchers stores. The mall is located just NW of Phoenix.Written 11 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Ciera E3 contributionsThe Ghostrider of Hedgepeth Hills.
(see attached articles)
Back in 1936 the skeletons of a horse and man were found in these hills, along with his ring, knife, guns and a saddle. The saddle was engraved with the initials “XIT”. And a gold ring with initials “W.E.R.”.
He was not identified and probably died of exposure or had been ambushed many, many years before.
In a book called “The Arizona Rangers” it was believed the skeleton belonged to a very famous horse rustler who they had been chasing/tracking in 1905 and never saw again.
It was just desert back then. Of course now it’s got houses all around.
But I think you have to go at night to see the Ghost Rider!Written 15 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Inside is a gorgeous set-up of antique cars. All beautifully restored with information plaques at each car. And you can actually open the doors and sit in most of them! I've never seen that anywhere before. If you enjoy antique cars at all you will easily spend a couple hours. These are not hot rods, but restored to perfection cars from 1910 and on. Well, perfection to my untrained eyes.Written 17 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- dlynnb2014Glendale, AZ62 contributionsWe took our Sunday School to Tomalchof Farm for the second year in a row to the Fall Festival. It was the last Sunday they are open for the fall festival. The kids had a great time jumping, climbing, sliding, riding the train. There is food there, and lots of activities.Written 7 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
