We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the harbour before getting on a lovely boat, the crew were all really nice and helpful! We swam with the dolphins at the reef which was such an unforgettable experience and definitely a highlight of our holiday!!! The dolphin tour was fine. The turtle tour was canceled due to lack of attendance for my scheduled ate on the August 28 2024. No big deal. I ask for a refund. They promised the refund. 2 weeks later, there was still no refund. But they continue to tell me the refund was processed. I had to go through my own bank to dispute the charge. I'm most thankful to Ahmed Hammam, our guide during the cruise. He went above and beyond and made sure we made the most out of the 5 days we spent with him. He even helped us barter in local businesses for better prices and took us to any place we needed, not only to tours. If you need a Spanish speaking guide, ask specifically for him.
Mona, from the bookings office was also very attentive making sure everything went well with our trip.
Our cruise, Semiramis II, had overall good amenities. The only things I wish were better were the wifi availability, which was intermittent, and the shower, which was hard to use without spilling. We got picked up in time by our driver Hussain who was really attentive and made sure we were comfortable during the trip. Once we arrived in Luxor we met up with our guide Sayed Gamal. He was really knowledgeable about all the history and the sights that we visited, he gave us his personal suggestions on what to see in the valley of the kings, which was great. He made sure we had all the time we needed. Half way through the trip we stopped for tasty local lunch. The guide was not only very knowledgeable but he also altered the times we were at very site to our wishes. He narrated the Egyptian stories in a high-quality and easily understandable manner, and answered all our questions with great knowledge. We learned a lot of new things about Luxor. - Deborah B5 contributionsThe highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the opportunity to swim alongside a large number of turtles, which was absolutely magical. The crew proved us life jackets and snorkeling gear.
While we didn’t have the chance to see a dugong, and the coral reef seemed to be somewhat injured, leading to fewer fish sightings than we had hoped.
The boat was meticulously clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of the trip.
