Cheng was best tour guide ever. Had so much fun. Even in rain and mud it was great. Local ladies gave me a bamboo stick and it made me feel cool. :)

We had a fantastic trip with Mao Cô. The hike itself was spectacular and the in-depth guide from Mao Cô was tremendous. Mao Cô has fantastic English, a wonderful sense of humour and an infectious passion for her community. I would without doubt recommend this to anyway and caters for all fitness levels.

We had a fabulous time with Su who guided us through the Sapa Valley. We got to see all the beautiful views and rice fields. Su was really knowledgable about the area and provided us with loads of interesting information.

I highly recommend this tour. Mao Cô, our guide, was absolutely fantastic. I cannot compliment her enough! She’s a phenomenal guide - so passionate about her work and she explained a lot about the culture in local villages which was very interesting. She has great English and is so easy to understand. She was very caring and accommodating throughout the tour - and helped everybody on the muddy part of the trail. The homestay was great - lovely home cooked food and good facilities. Definitely book this tour if you get the chance!

May Ly was our tour guide and she was amazingly helpful! This trip requires a lot of walking, some hiking so make sure you rent boots if it rains ( even if it rains the day before you should rent boots bc the trail is very muddy), just ask your tour guide how to rent them. I highly recommend May Ly as your tour guide bc she’s a local who’s from this village!

The trip with May was absolutely amazing! It was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. The jeep ride provided fantastic views and May gave so much information about the area and the ethnic villages. She was so gracious and brought us to her home for tea and we enjoyed meeting women from her village. Such a fabulous day!!! Highly recommend!!!

Amazing scenery the whole time. Stopped by two waterfalls and we were able to walk all the way up to them. In better weather we could’ve swam in the second one. It was very cloudy so heaves gate was a bit disappointing because we couldn’t see anything. Our tour guide stopped and made us lunch in the middle of the hike right next to the rice fields. Absolutely breathtaking taking views. He asked us if we wanted the easy or difficult trail. We took the difficult trail straight through the corn and rice fields. It was muddy and uneasy footing but so worth it. Be prepared for a few miles or trekking and some incredible views

We enjoyed the opportunity to stay with a home stay that has more of a country living ambiance. From the moment we got off the bus in Sa Pa, Kat was a great guide as we walked 2 hours to the house (because of our 10-year old daughter, we took a taxi half the way because it was too hot & humid to hike the full 5km). The rest of the guests hiked the full way. Our luggage was bought up via motorbike.

The house is typical country and very clean. You have all you need there; new toilet, hot water for shower, plug ins with converters, WiFi and warm blankets.

We had a fabulous group dinner all made from scratch and then Mama Little entertained us with rounds of Happy Water!!

The hike out the next morning was lovely passing by the rice fields, it took 2-2.5 hours to hike down and we had lunch by the waterfall. Bring bug spray as some trails are nature trails and beware the trails can be muddy & slippery.

The owner was very attentive, professional and the whole family is kind. Families don’t normally sign up for this homestay as the accommodations are rural like and there is a lot of hiking but for the right type of family, it’s an adventure. Wonderful stay, great people.

The trip was wonderful and informative. Soso, my tour guide, was very helpful in giving informations about the places along the path. Her excellent English made more inspired on how you give the opportunity to explore the indigenous culture of her people and with the other tribes in Northern Vietnam. It is incredibly an inspiring and wonderful experience to remember. I really appreciate Soso's dedication and work!!! Kudos to her.

Was all organised very well, offered pickup and drop off to my hostel and drove me to the start point with my guide. My guide Cho was very friendly and encouraging and happy to take breaks and go at any pace. The lunch that was provided was a feast with loads of fruit and meats and bread. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t amazing so the views were hidden but I would recommend regardless. Option to hike back down or go in the cable car.
