They learned about the animals, got to touch many of them and gained respect for the environment, the animals and nature during the very informative discussions with Mario and Steve.
I would definitely recommend a visit to this park to anyone who is visiting the Haines or Skagway area.

Here you can fish for salmon, watch eagles and brown bears and seals, and admire nature at its finest.
We got to the park at the end of the road, where there is a boat launching ramp, people in canoes, beautiful Merganser's (water ducks) swimming and diving.

While in the preserve, I developed a profound feeling for nature and the bounty it provided in terms of flora and fauna as well as for the animals that resided here.
Pristine beauty and nature at its best!

We took the relatively short drive to the park (about 15 minutes from town) and were very impressed with the views of the bay and the mountains and glaciers on the other side.
A really beautiful park with camp sites, boat ramp and a picnic area.
