This was a beautiful waterfall and a great way to relax and admire the beauty for 45 minutes or so. The price, like the hike, is a little steep for what it is, but we are glad we visited.

We ended up being rained on and even having to get out for a while with lightning going on but were nearly the last people to leave. It's amazing how instead of being exhausted from warm water the thermal waters leave us invigorated

This hotel was so beautiful. The rooms look ok. It's the outside and hotsprings that are the best. The food at the bar was good. The resturant was whatever. The staff was really serious about towels, so I suggest, bring your own towels foreal! I would come back to the hot springs but I would stay in a different hotel.

They do amazing work here at Proyecto Asis. My friend and I bought donations. The customer service is awesome, the workers are friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals. I will be back!

Crossing my his lake from La fortuna to Monteverde was an absolute highlight of our trip. We used Swiss Travels to book our ferry and it was a breeze. Stopped along the way to see nature and animals. Love the lake, the breeze, and the smells.

Arenal 1968 was great to do a tour with. The views on top of the volcano are just beautiful. The hike was not bad -- I have asthma and just had to slow down once or twice. You also get walking sticks before taking the trek up. the tour guide gave us a little history lesson before we went up on the hike.

Easy access after parking the car on the side of the road (current "parking fee" of the type "official inofficial": 2000 colones ). We walked up a little and found some nice pools and places where we spent a couple of hours. Pleasantly warm and lots of water coming down! Clean.

Paradise Hot Springs lives up to it's name. Many hot spring pools with different temperatures. We stayed for 3 nights and it was very private and quiet. It was the highlight of our month long trip to Costa Rica.

I took my wife and 4 boys there this past week. We booked 3 nights and ended up booking two more. My 8yo loved the larger water slide and my 4yo twins loved the bar pool. Diana and Tavo would give them apple slices and cherries with umbrellas throughout the day and they loved it. In fact Tavo went above and beyond helping us get close to the basilisk lizards and even linked us with a friend to see the elusive pedriasosa. The cool rain storms would roll through but it don’t matter! That was my wife’s favorite part. Ordering a pina colada in a downpour in a mineral hot spring. It was truly amazing! One star off because beds and pillows are too firm

Well worth a visit if you’re in the area, after all it is free! Quite busy but plenty of spots to seek out. Parking on the side of the road with a local to guide you in and will keep an eye on your car for a few dollars. Water shoes or similar a must.

Although the frogs (bats, snakes, etc) are all wild, they are protected in this well set out sanctuary. The area feels very natural with a selection of pools, and I got the impression most visitors saw some of the most iconic frogs of Costa Rica; we certainly saw Red-eyed Tree frogs, Glass Frogs, Rain frogs and even watched a Fer-de-Lance capture a bullfrog. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful (ask if she/he will take photos using their scope + your phone for amazing pictures). Obviously this is a night tour, so dress accordingly. Transport to/ from the hotel was provided.

We did the night tour with Brandon as many of the animals are nocturnal. It was amazing and Brandon helped my 17 year get some unbelievable photos that his fiends tagged as National Geographic. I think what made the tour even better was Brandon's passion as a guide. He LOVES his "office"! It was pitch black and he would say look over here and there was a viper hanging on a big leaf and the same color as the leaf. Great tour.

With American teens used to water parks this is not the place. Small kids and couples would be perfect. It’s a very good price and very clean. The fact that you can bring your own food and drinks make it enjoyable. We spent about 3 hrs.

This is a great and very economical option for getting into Natura and viewing Arenal. Trails are well maintained and well marked. Several options for the more adventurous. I would return. Great view of the volcano.
