We used MIDI Car Rentals for 2 Airport transfers and had such a smooth experience. Everything was very well planned by David, who was always quick and accurate in all communications. We had a wonderful day thanks to the precise organization and the nice company of our driver Liqun who was really helpful and explained us many things. He gave us plenty of time to explore the places, even beyond the scheduled time. You know that communication in China can be very hard with not having the proper internet and the language barrier but Miki made each day so enjoyable and pleasant for us. She was even able to get us around Shanghai at night safely with two kids. They took a shopping, picked us up and dropped us off everywhere we needed to go and the price was excellent for us. The gardens were a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city, with intricate rockeries, koi-filled ponds, and beautiful pavilions that transported me back in time. Tom’s deep knowledge of the garden’s history and architecture enhanced my appreciation of the site. He was incredibly helpful, ensuring every detail was perfect, from navigating the garden’s pathways to ordering the most delicious dumplings afterward. If your phone is capable (iPhone) I recommend using Apple Maps and showing the driver your anticipated route. - Farah I130 contributionsWe were traveling with 2 little ones and planning to skip the hassle of catching a taxi at 1am from the airport to the hotel. Unfortunately we get held up at immigration and luggage collection which makes us late appearing at the arrival gate. We were not greeted by any driver, but a bunch of taxi touts. I have sent and received a confirmation email from MK Shanghai a couple of days before our travel date. Such a bummer.
In the end we had to line up and catch a taxi at the counter like everyone else.
