You get an idea what to expect or how it may have been performed after a while.
My expectations were blown away. The performances were amazing. Our friend took us here because he went before not too long ago with other friends. They were also blown away which is why he wanted to show us. He said about half of the performance was new to him despite going recently.
We have told several people about the experience so far and that they definitely have to go if they are in the area. Showed them the pictures and told them what happened. They were awestruck and some got the chills.
I think if word gets out, this place will explode in popularity. The decoration is very bold, and they managed it perfectly. Their staff speaks English, so foreigners who don’t speak Chinese can go. The drinks, while I personally didn’t try them, looked great. And since it is located in a fifth floor, there’s a great view of the city.
Now, the reason why I don’t give it 5/5: the food. It is decent, don’t get me wrong, they have many options, from more South American cuisine to other dishes for people who just wish to enjoy the place without trying something new. And I refer to it as South American cuisine, because the arepas are the Venezuelan type, from the way they prepared it with Harina Pan to the way they are served. I usually wouldn’t have minded this, because I also love Venezuelan arepas, but I must take away some points off because one of the arepas we ordered wasn’t cooked enough, as well that the patacones (with the patacones paisa) are too thin, so they collapse under the weight of the toppings they are served with.

Highly recommend not to choose from the menu. The owner or the bar tender can give you suggestions on cocktails or whisky based on your preference. We tried a few cocktails and whisky. Although the cocktails were not very surprising but their taste was well balanced and precisely made. The choice of whisky was not bad. You may make reservation for a table upstairs (highly recommend if you go during weekend). But downstairs has a better ambience. Because it's small, it's almost impossible not to meet other people, and have a great evening.
This place is a great place to have a few wines and some fun conversations. On the weekends, the place will be busy with interesting Shanghai folk - or visitors.
