The service from Sartaj and his father is exceptional. There are hundreds of stalls selling excellent gifts and souvenirs such as jewellery, clothing and trinkets. Be sure to barter significantly (at least 50% off starting price). We ended leasing the store with 3 coats, 1 shirt, 2 drysses and some fabrics. Shirt and dresses Taylor made on the next Day. All due to great consultancy and services from Ash and his team. - Lilmisskjmidlands130 contributionsRecently on a trip to Goa I met a lovely gentleman called Bash from La La jewellers on Fort Aguada Road who was very polite and helpful with no hard sell, he offered me a drink and we sat chatting about our lives and backgrounds. I saw a lovely mother of pearl pendant that I decided to purchase, and over the next month i went on to have 2 commemorative college rings designed and made, 2 shamrock pendants made to order, a beautiful opal ring made, a pair of earrings designed to go with a lovely pendant I chose, and purchased several necklaces of different lengths including a 30 inch chain that needed two chains to be made into one long one. I have travelled around the world visiting many world class spas and the massages were not as good as the massage I had the day I visited Anavadhya. Definitely recommend it. - Daab1952Verwood, UK192 contributionsWe went on this dolphin tour today. It lasts between 4 - 5 hours. We got collected from the office in Candolim in a bus. It was then a 10 minute drive to where we got the boat. It was a fairly large boat with seating below and an open deck above. After about 15 minutes out to sea we saw dolphins. We spent a bit of time searching for them, then went a bit further where we stopped and we were allowed to swim around the boat for about 15 minutes. We were given some free drinks on board. We then proceeded to an area, where we got off the boat and went to a restaurant for a bbq type lunch which was okay. We then got back on the boat and returned to the start point. We then got back on the bus and were taken back to Cantolim.
