    Back to Basics
    I was expecting a "village style " cooking to be held in the open with firewood fire! it was otherwise , never the less, an experience to be remembered! Sharmila was briming with excitement from the moment she met us. Took the effort to explain all the ingredients and and its substitutes too. She made us participate in every step of the entire process. That was the best part of the whole exercise where I learnt the nitty gritty stuff of making 'poori". In the little space she had she made sure she adhered to cleanliness and hygiene. Though the dishes were not new nor exotic, her simple method of cooking with care and love and chatter made them turn out to be sumptuous. Wishing Sharmila all the best with more such projects

    Explored the unexplored
    Our food trail adventure in Panjim with Soul Travelling was a gastronomic delight! Exploring Goan food was an eye-opener, with each dish more delicious than the last, and the desserts were pure indulgence. Bob, our guide, was fantastic – he not only introduced us to incredible flavors but also deepened our understanding of Goa's vibrant culture. This experience was like a journey for the senses, and we left with our hearts and bellies full.

    Explore Saligao on foot!
    We walked with Bob, our storyteller who is also an avid musician! Ask him about the evolution of music while also spotting the beautiful birds in the bundh. The Saligao Passai is all about slowing down and noticing the intricate details in the Mae De Deus Church, the cemetary and even a few spooky stories from houses that are over a hundred years old. Walk into a living relic, the Bobo House and meet it's lovely host and her loving four legged critters. It's like stepping back in time and imagining a time that shimmers still, like the verdant green of the paddy fields around every turn!

    Amazing experience! It's an authentic, organic experience that's very different from the regular touristy thongs you can do in Goa. The personal touches and stories make the experience memorable.

    My friend just told me about the zatra called Gadyaanchi Jatra and was fascinated about the spirits in goa and while scrolling on insta i came across "Make It Happen" page and also saw they also had a film abt the Guardian spirit n took this experience.i watched this long back but was busy so couldn't write a review.The documentary about the protectors of goa which is filmed by Make It Happen was very informative and fascinating... It was great way of learning about the "rakandars" who protected the villages during the night...from the origin of the Guardian spirit how till today how we worship the rakandars was literally mind blowing...I would recommend this short and informative experience conducted by MAKE IT HAPPEN to my fellow collegues and friends

    A peaceful escape!
    Thanks to my tour guide Nabin for showing my the peaceful island of Chorao. It was super relaxing to ride around, and I enjoyed seeing all the Banian trees. Cycling back at sunset was beautiful, thank you!

    Awesome Experience!
    Exploring offbeat destinations with Soul Travelling leaves you spellbound. Daryll, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us adequate information about the history and culture of Aldona. His narrating style makes you fall in love with the village. The evening visit to a local house and tasting Goan snacks- Alle belle, pinagr- was a cherry on the cake. Kudos to you, Soul Travelling for giving us a glimpse into a different side of Goa! :)

    The best beach of all
    I done a tour of all the beaches from Baga beach callangute Candolim right down and the best beach was Bogmalo it’s beautiful clean and I also enjoyed staying in the bamboo huts on the beach fantastic food and very nice atmosphere 👍 looking forward to returning 😎🙏

    Kayaking in Goa - safe, fun and fast to respond
    On the lead up to the kayaking trip Raj was very prompt at replying to questions through whatsapp.

    Equipment is in good shape, and the river was calm. I felt safe in the kayak with the provided equipment (having kayaked before). Take heed of the warning from Raj that your feet and seat will get wet and do what I didn't do and bring a change of trousers/shorts :)

    We had with us an experienced kayaking guide and an English speaking guide; it would have been nice to have been told about the birds and bats and sights we saw. Our guide told us what he knew when we asked but I'm more use to a chattier guide - it didn't take away from our enjoyment though.

    We went up and down the river on either side of the Nerul bridge and through the mangroves - my favourite part! Our guide offered us biscuits and sweets as we went and we finished with a sandwich; not sure what the meat options are but the veg option was a salad sandwich with chips. Water bottles were provided.

    Overall - I would absolutely trust Raj with a tour in the future. I felt safe and the duration of the tour was worth the cost. I'd just ask the guide more questions about what I wanted to know. Would do it again!
