    Excellent day tour of Kolkata
    We had a great day exploring Kolkata with our wonderful guide Champa. She operated the tour efficiently and made sure we saw everything on the itinerary, allowing us time to stay longer at places we were most interested in. Champa explained not only the locations we visited and sights we passed along the way, but shared a lot about Bengali history, culture, and the region. The driver traveled around safely and it was nice having a car with AC. This was the perfect way to see many diverse spots in Kolkata in one day.

    the BEST way to experience Kolkata
    This was by far the most memorable experience I’ve had when exploring a city. I can’t tell you how glad I am to have come across Sonam’s page and subsequently taken a tour with him. Trust me don’t think twice and book one with him! He’ll emerse you in the most beautiful tales of the city and share sooo much knowledge. Even after 5 hours of our morning walk I was left craving for more :)

    The best food tour I’ve ever been on
    Avik is an excellent person and guide. He is so passionate about his city. It’s more than a food tour. Other food tours just shovel you full of local food you could have picked off google, but not Avik. Each venue has a story and intertwines with the local community. Avik not only knows his history, but he knows the culture and community of the area so well that you understand WHY these vendors are the ones he has chosen, and you also get to know why they are so important to the place he calls home. It felt like a cultural walk with food mixed in. We left the tour knowing more about Kolkata than we expected, and we don’t hesitate to recommend this to everyone as not just a must do, but THE must do whilst you’re in town. Thanks for a great night Avik.

    Fascinating stroll through Calcutta’s history
    Shaha expertly told the story of Calcutta’s founding and rule from its origins as the hub of the vast East India company empire thru Parliamentary control and Independence. We began with masala chai and strolled through history as framed by Calcutta’s architecture and parks. St. John’s church and its monuments provided incredible detail and Shaha answered all of our questions with humor and a keen sense of perspective regarding this complex and difficult legacy. We wrapped up at the Victoria Memorial. Shaha packed quite a lot into just under 3 hours. Highly recommend this tour.

    Little bit of everything
    Had a wonderful time exploring Kolkata. I was picked up promptly at my hotel at 7:00am. It was nice to start the day early to avoid the heat and crowds. I got to see so much of the city. Muzaffar is so knowledgeable about Kolkata and his passion for the city shows. So glad I did this tour. I highly recommended it for anyone looking to see a little bit of everything Kolkata has to offer.

    Great way to spend a day
    My mum and I had a wonderful experience on this tour with Mr Paul. They were very passionate and informative about the history of Kolkata and shared in depth knowledge about each location we went to. We'd highly recommend this experience!

    Tour de Kolkata rocks!
    A guide can make you love or hate a city. Muzaffer is absolutely the one person who can make you love anywhere.
    I was planning to arrange this tour with another agent but when I started communicating with Tour de Kolkata, I changed my mind. Thanks God I changed my mind.
    Muzaffer is a gentleman, an amazing person, flexible, funny and intellectual. He turned our Sunderban tour into an once in a lifetime experience.
    Go ahead, book your tour, you will have a great guide and a good friend at the end of your holiday.

    Interesting, Fun and Informative!
    This was the second walk we did with Calcutta Photo Tours in 4 days, so that fact by itself should speak volumes about the quality of Calcutta Photo Tours’ walks! I had spent 7 years in Kolkata finishing high school and college and still saw a side of the city I didn’t know existed.
    We started at Bow Barracks and learned about the Anglo-Indian community, before moving on to the Parsis, the Chinese, the Baghdadi Jews, as well as many other people not native to Kolkata, ending up at the Beth-El Synagogue. Along the way we sampled lots of delicious food too which was definitely a plus! Did I mention the friendly milkman delivering fresh milk to the residents of the area? Manjit tells the story of Kolkata and it’s people in a very engaging way and I cannot recommend this walk enough. Book it - you won’t be sorry!

    A must do while in Kolkata!!
    The alleyway food your is a must do while in Kolkata. Soham Was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable! The food was super delicious. Walking through the back alleys and experiencing the vast history of the city was great. Such a great experience

    Amazing Tour of Kolkata
    We saw so much in this half day tour, great way to see the city’s highlights. Our guide Muzaffar was a fountain of knowledge and happy to answer all our questions on both the history and the modern day. Muzaffar also tailored the sites to our preferences. 10/10 would highly recommend.

    Calm amidst the city
    This was a fantastic tour of the wetlands. An unbelievable area of calm, peace and beautiful scenery just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle usually associated with Kolkata.
    Shirish is a great guide, and was there ready and waiting for me early in the morning. The bikes and equipment were all ready to go and I felt extremely safe in the capable hands of Shirish. He is obviously very passionate about his city and in particular this hidden gem. It was lovely to see up close the fishermen returning with their catch, and to take a break with some local chai.
    I would say, if you have padded shorts, you may be thankful for them after a couple of hours bouncing along the trails and tracks here.
    I have some wonderful photos from this trip and am so glad I was able to include this in my trip to Kolkata.

    Raj made my day
    It's on the expensive side for India, but it was well worth it. I'll do it again in a heartbeat. It was Raj, a driver, and a clean air-conditioned car. Probably about 8 1/2 hours total with 45 min lunch break for me.

    Raj picked my up at the hotel, and we went though my expectations. It was not my first trip to India, From there on, it was on him. It was a hot day, so the order of places mattered. He knows the town inside out.

    Raj's English is top notch, which is not always a given. And he had a very good balance between history and random items to keep things interesting. He was the best guide in India I had so far, by a big margin.

    Memorable Tour with Kolkata Trips
    Our recent Kolkata City Tour with Kolkata Trips exceeded expectation, thanks to to the exceptional service of Mr. Mukherjee. The team of Kolkata Trips showcased professionalism and promptness from start to finish, ensuring a smooth experience. We have started with the Flower Market in the morning and concluded with a cup of Coffee in the famous Coffee House in College Street Book Market.

    Highly recommend their service for a memorable and enriching tour experience in this fascinating city.
