Cool place for the Chennai heat...Nice place to visit with Family. Snow Kingdom is one a kind in Chennai where you can experience the chillness of the snowy climate.

Kids enjoyed it, specially the standing of rat snake. If you are wearing shorts, then wear some mosquito repellent . Its worth the price and time spent, not too fancy

Very good place for spending 1 day in outskirts of Chennai. Ticket price of rs. 750 for adults and 650 for children is reasonable. Attractions like Free Fall and Centrox are really enjoyable. I went with my family and my son's enjoyed a lot. Only Minus is very less water games.

This is one of the oldest Lighthouses in Chennai. You can view the whole Marina Beach from the top of the lighthouse. One can only visit the 9th floor only. And only for 10 minutes.. It takes 20 INR for locals, and 50 INR for foreigners. I think the money is worth it.. Great view of the beach but sorrounded with railings. It opens at 10.30 am in the morning.

#Unbalamadugufalls situated at the boarder of andhra and Tamilnadu, 20 kmts from Tada. This is also called Tada falls.
Sign boards are placed from Varadaiahpalem till forest entrance gate to Basecamp. Vehicles will be checked at main entrance and its no plastic zone however neither security nor some of the public doesn’t care. Eventually some of the places at falls are reflection of it.
Car entrance fee is 200 and for bike 50, minibus around 500. Individual entrance ticket is 20 rupees and some additional charges for Camera as well.
From forest main entrance, you are allowed to drive till base camp where parking area, restrooms and small hotel for snacks available. There is a watch tower in between to have a look at the beauty of surroundings.
From base camp, Trek starts along side of water stream. At starting point, there will be metal bridge to cross the water as depth will be there. After walking about 15 mins, will be reaching a check dam. Water storage upto 3 ft and this is suitable for all sort of crowd even you do not know swimming. When you move far, it may be deep, need to be cautious. Water was clear as i have travelled in the morning around 9 am, as and when it gets crowded, it gets dirty. This area is huge with lot of seating arrangements and to spend time. From there you will pass through lot of small and medium ponds along the water stream. Water is crystal clear, you can even consider for drinking. We will get to cross multiple places and you decide where to take a dip! As we move forward towards the fall, way becomes rocky and narrow. Last 100 to 200 mts of way is completely rocks, need to move from one to another, climb and so on. Hence, if you travel with elderly or kids, suggested to park your self somewhere in middle and not to go till the fall, unless they too adventurous 😊
Expected good water levels during monsoon, winter also better(i went in January).
Overall trek time is 4 hours up and down, 4.15 kmts with 138 meters elevation.
This place is safe and can travel with you friends, family except the washrooms facility available only at parking area/basecamp. Carry your own food or get it parcelled from Varadaiahpalem. There is a small canteen at parking area as well and I have seen a board that they do supply meals on request.
Transportation- prefer own (Car/Bike/Minivan ) Based on requirement. Public transportation Tada to Varadaiahpalem or Srikalahasti to Varadaiahpalem. From Varadaiahpalem appx about 13 kmts (30 mins drive due bad roads) need to hire a auto.
Suggestion: Please do not carry any plastic, even you do, pls bring it back. Its our responsibility to keep these places clean and save nature. Without our cooperation, it makes impossible for government to make it happen.

Suham means "bliss" in Tamil and the experiences I have had here are nothing but bliss. All the masseuses have been excellent. I prefer the 90-minute Balinese massage and whoever was the masseuse that day, each had a slightly different technic but delivered a very effective massage. I have been battling back pain and these massages have almost made it disappear.
Plus the fact it is sooooo relaxing. Love it!

I was excited for my first camping experience to Yelagiri but was bit apprehensive on how it would be. It turned out to be the best experience ever. The tents and washrooms were very neat. The camp managers Raghu and Sanjay were easily approachable, friendly and accommodating. They helped us with what we want and were taking very good care of the tribe. They helped us a lot during the trek and very encouraging so that all of us could have an unforgettable experience! The adventure sports was so much fun and thrilling too! Looking forward to the next trek with tentntrek!

I rented a Royal Enfield Classic 500 from Date A Bike two weeks ago. From start to finish, Vikram was extremely pleasant, professional, and thoughtful. Before my trip, several issues arose which I thought would derail my bike plans, but Vikram patiently addressed each issue and set my mind at ease. During my road trip, he sent me links to places that he thought I should check out: not only temples and sightseeing spots, but very cool restaurants and cafés, too. The bike itself was a beauty. I rode about 2,000 km without even one problem.
Vikram, thank you very much for the wonderful experience.
