Located in the Thiruvanmiyur area of Chennai, this is a very old Shiva temple dating back to the Chola period. A serene and spacious temple, it attracts a lot of devotees and is easily accessible. The temple complex also houses shrines of Ganesha, Kartik and Parvati. The temple is open from 5.30 in the morning till noon, and again from 4.30pm till 9.30pm

First things first, you cant go to the beach only. You have to buy a ticket to the Theme park and it includes beach too. Going to beach only (without the Theme park) is NOT allowed.
-- Beach is good and is better than public beaches as its a private beach
-- Theme park has got many dry rides and wet rides(water based rides)
-- I thought Food is little bit expensive, considering that Theme park ticket is high.
Tip: Go to the Theme park early in the morning, cover the dry rides before afternoon, have lunch and relax in the shade and in the evening after 4 pm you can go for water rides.
-- For water rides you need to wear their uniform/water clothes. I heard that they won't allow your own Nylon/Lycra clothes.

This statue is located at the Marina beach front and is the tribute to the father of the Indian nation-Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. The place has various stalls selling food and other stuff near by. The area can be beautified further. The place has ample parking, but has no shade and hence it is preferable to visit in early morning or late evening to avoid the hard sun.

The new church, located adjacent to the existing one in Besant Nagar, is a beautiful church with exquisite Gothic architecture. One needs to climb quite a few steps to enter the church. There is sufficient parking within the premises. We did not find much crowd at the time of our visit. Definitely worth visiting

A great gem in Chennai if you are into illustration, printmaking or book design. The building itself is also worth the visit.

One of the interesting and great museums in Chennai. This is situated in the Kalashetra Campus. Rukmini Devi is the founder of the Kalakshetra and hence this Museum is dedicated to her.

Visited this bar in the month of August 2018. Good ambiance and well stocked bar. Big screen projection was there for entertainment. Background melodious music is played to create appropriate atmosphere. Both genders are seen. Overall good place to unwind.
