- duttkrishAmman, Jordan170 contributionsreally cheap clothing...great people and not trying to scam you. Still do ask for discounts and you will save some extra coin for lunch :)Written 27 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Traveller G15 contributionsQuiet calmness in the middle of a crazy area of the city. We saw a religious performance with nadaswaram horns being played, wonderful. Very friendly people and happy to let travellers visit. Make sure you have some cash to pay the person where you leave your shoes/sandles. Worth visiting. It's also close to some theatres where you can see traditional Indian dance.Written 22 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- twinkle906India299 contributionsWe used to visit and worship Lord Raghavendra temple at T Nagar very often. This is located very near to Panagal Park...Just a walking distance. The temple is very well maintained and the poojas are being performed with all devotion. Daily Annadhanam is being provided. They are also maintaining Goshala. The Main shrines in this temple are Shree Raghavendra, Lord Hanuman and Lord Krishna.
They also do Pournami Poojas. At our request they conduct Pournami Poojas in devotee's houses also by sending their Pandit. Cost is much nominal.
They also accept donations, which are eligible for tax deduction under Sec.80 G.Written 26 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - sikhakri264 contributionsWaheguru! - KRAMA200Seattle, WA1,180 contributionsSiva Vishnu Temple in Usman Road,a Busy Shopping Area of T Nagar Chennai is one of the old temples.Though it has no history it is frequented by residents of this area for generations,I did my schooling here and vividly remember my mother going every week. The Anjaneya ,Vinayaka and Navagraha sannathis are very famous.Another striking aslect is that this is one of the few Temples where both Saivaites and Vaishnavites come and worship.Well maintaines.Written 28 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Dr MGR Memorial House, which was once his official residence, now houses several interesting memorabilia associated with his life, acting and political career. The two-storeyed building contains various mementos that were presented to him for the success of his films. His Ambassador car bearing registration number TMX 4777, which had been modified to include a mini television to enable him to watch cricket matches, looks just like new. The hall on the first floor contains many more souvenirs, as well as posters from his films.
This place is more like temple for most of his fans. This place is a must visit place where you can know more about this legend.Written 22 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Manj9 contributionsThis is about my first time seeing the performance of Shobana @KGS

- Kamaldeep Ferwahey5 contributionsThis is place of worship for Sikhs known as Gurdwara and is open to people of all faiths. There are around 500 Sikh families in Chennai and they come for prayers every Sunday beginning at 10am. There's langgar (free vegetarian food) after the prayers at around 1pm. Must cover your head when in Gurdwara grounds and appropriate attire is appreciated - not too revealing.Written 15 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
