I consider myself extremely lucky to have found Vicky and his team in Chennai. I was having a hard time finding a rental so sent an email to SFA Bike Rentals asking if I could chat by whatsapp as I had a few questions before I commited online.
Vicky, the owner, gave me so much time answering everything succinctly. The experience was second to none. Smooth, seamless and importantly a friendly and caring team. Nothing was too hard.
The bike (Royal Enfield Himalayan) performed perfectly over 4400 klms. I was fortunate enough to see the bike preparation prior to handover and was impressed with new brake pads, steering head bearing adjustment etc.
I was picked me up from the airport. Paperwork took 10mins, and bike return even quicker. I was even dropped off at my hotel after I returned the bike!

First they will offer one day free coupon in malls in chennai. but it is not free at all. then they will get your number for future contact and will call you for avail this offer, but here is the story started they will call you to come their office place and then they will brian wash you to get the annual membership in cheap rates. but it is a 100% very big scam as i monitored and checked. then we alloted ourself and not bought their any membership plans. We left the office safetly with out falled in their trap. - Christina S10 contributionsI was given an unsafe bike with poor customer support. Riding it, the steering felt very weird and off-kilter. I had someone else confirm this, as well as point out the front tire was very underinflated. I contacted Worktown immediately, and their only response was to advise me to fill the tire with air, presumably with my money. Even if I did that, the tread on that front tire was almost completely gone.
The mirrors were fixed at an odd angle. I wasn't able to manually adjust them because they had been locked into position, severely limiting what I could see behind me.
There were no documents under the passenger seat. I inquired about this at the time of rental and was told they would be emailed out; I received no such email.
The helmet they gave me was far too big and missing the foam over the right ear piece. At the time of rental, I asked for a smaller helmet and was told there was no other available. I asked twice after that and was still not given a replacement helmet.
I'm very disappointed with this company. They made zero effort to correct the situation. The only thing they offered was to advise me to fill the tires with my own money. Got to gorge on delicious street food and indulge in shopping. Rode in tuktuks, went on a river cruise, visited the grand palace. Did it all, thanks to Dayan's attention to detail in organising it.An amazing trip to Phuket and Bangkok organised by Dayan of Innovision Events and Excursions. Special mention of jithin who had come to deliver and pick up the bike.
