I visited this temple with my parents and friend. The place is quiet and holy for anyone who knows Baba. It is well known among locals and tourists.

ISKCON Temple in Chennai is conveniently located just off the East Coast Road. A large and aesthetically pleasing temple, the place is clean and well maintained. Car parking is available. There is a food court which opens at 11am and a shop where one can buy books and souvenirs. Prasadam is given out free. You do need to climb quite a few steps in order to reach the main temple hall.

We went to shop few things. which included Tamil Traditional clothes, visited a large store Pothys, Which housed every thing we sought. days later I wanted to backpack and went to neighbouring store called Saravana.

Both the places, were extremely cheap, choice was wide and Staff behaviour was very good.

I spent my childhood in Mylapore and hence returning for a visit was nostalgic, although it has become extremely commercial and crowded. But walking through the streets around Kapaleeswarar temple tank and by lanes brought back memories, not to forget the relegious fervor of the Markazhi month

There are lot of shops to choose from with varied prices, you can get items starting from 5 rupees. Pondy bazaar is in TNagar, it is a huge street. Parking is little difficult to get during weekends especially for cars, but well organized parking throughout the area. There are lot of items to choose from based on your budget, this is heaven for girls for sure......

Vadapalani Murugan temple is one of the most popular temples dedicated to Lord Murugan. Got to visit this temple few times with family & friends.

On 31st March 2016, got to visit this temple again with my mom. Lord Murugan idol seems to be so beautiful, it is also believed that worshipping Lord Murugan here is as pious as praying to him at the Original Palani temple.

Had a great day with the blessings of Lord Muruga. Offered our pranams & had a great dharshan.

Very different temple with pillars. Pillars are having lots of good sayings, which is a very positive message to devotees.

Open temple makes us to feel with nature with sea shore by the side.

Lord Narayana is huge and blesses devotees. The temple authorities are asking not to visit temple after visiting nearby beach. So, it is better to visit temple first and then the beach.

Museum is well done with informative displays on Swami Vivekananda and Indian spirituality. The 3D film on the Parliament of Religions was well done and charming. There was an area where you could ask questions and hear the reply from a video display of Vivekananda, it was enjoyable. And meditating in the room where he stayed was powerful. Definitely recommend this sight if you have time in Chennai.
