    Review of: Chennai city tour in private car with guide & lunch for a cultural immersion
    Definitely worth half a day in Chennai.
    This was our second tour with Kannan, who again did a wonderful job of explaining the history and details around the various temples and landmarks we visited as well as a lot of city history. The theme throughout the tour was very positive and I like this better than even some longer tours we took. We visited Sri Ramakrishna Math, a Sai Baba temple, the Kapaleeshwarar Temple (a Shiva temple), Vivekanandar Illam (there is a very interesting museum here dedicated to the history of the Indian Saint Swami Vivekananda, which a lot of detail on creation stories as well, one of my favorite stops.) There were additional stops at the Chennai lighthouse and another planned for a British fort which we chose to skip.

    Amazing tour to Mahabalipuram
    We had a great tour of Mahabalipuram with Kannan. He struck a good balance of sharing the history and the significance of the beautiful monuments and temples. Also the Five Senses team were extremely flexible and accommodating of our requests even at the last minute. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a quality cultural immersion experience in Chennai.

    Review of: Chennai day trip to Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram
    Great tour of Pondichery & Mahabalipuram
    Took a day trip from Chennai to Pondichery and then to Mahabalipuram with Vijay from Five Senses Tours. Fascinating trip to the former French colony with a side trip to the Auroville commune. Then visited the Mahabalipuram monuments on the way back to Chennai. Vijay was a fabulous tour guide and host. We had great conversation on the trip and he was quite knowledgeable. He also arranged a specialist additional guide for Mahabalipuram. All sites were interesting but I'm particularly happy that I visited Mahabalipuram with its monolithic monuments (carved from single large stone!). I highly recommend Vijay and Five Senses. I'll likely be back in Chennai in the future and will certainly use them again.

    Review of: Food trail in Sowcarpet Market by Wonder tours
    Amazing experience at the Sowcarpet Market!
    I had a blast touring the bustling Sowcarpet Market in Chennai with Rajesh. I'm a vlogger so Rajesh had to take extra time to allow me to properly film the shots that I wanted to capture, which he did. He also explained the important facts of the market and the food so that I could get myself situated in this maze of history and food. All in all, an awesome experience. I highly recommend you book this tour!

    Review of: Wild life tour in Chennai with guide and private car
    A chance to see some animals
    This guided tour takes you to a zoo, an urban national park, and a reptile farm. While the city location means the animals are in captivity, one of the things you will learn from each location is that India is working to preserve it's wildlife heritage.

    My personal favorite was the reptile facility. Watching the workers there handle live cobras and extract venom for making antivenom was hair raising. The snakes are returned to the wild after a few draws. Meanwhile the lizard collection is unlike anything I have seen, and it was noted on one enclosure that some of these lizards are placed in the wild to help replenish endangered populations.

    My guide Raj was highly fluent in English, quite friendly, and took us to a restaurant that served a very tasty South Indian lunch. A day well spent.

    It was remarkable as our guide rajesh ensured a very personalised experience. They explain each monument in depth and passion that made me and my spouse feel so welcoming,lunch was amazing.

    Review of: Private Peacock Trail Walking Tour in Mylapore
    Excellent Tour!
    Lakshmi was an excellent tour guide - knowledgeable, friendly, and catered the material well to our specific group. Our family walked away feeling like we had a newfound appreciation and understanding of key places in Chennai, despite all of us being Tamilians ourselves who have visited the city many times! We would recommend this tour to anyone, either a local who wants a fresh perspective on new places, or someone new looking to learn about Chennai for the first time.

    Amazing day trip from Chennai!
    We had a the best day - our guide was amazing, so kind and gracious and had our comfort and enjoyment in mind the whole day. All of the details were taken care of an all we had to do was show up and enjoy. The tour guides at the various stops were amazing, the lunch was incredible and all of the sights and history we discovered that day was really amazing. Our host and driver were great.

    I would highly recommend this tour and would do it again!

    Review of: Chennai Self-Guided Audio Tour
    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
    Booked the tour months before the date and received confirmation that hotel pick up was included. The day before the tour I received a message that hotel pick up was not now available as the hotel was outside the city limits, even though they knew the hotel location at time of booking. Also that a giude was not available and we would only receive a pdf.
    I found their service most unprofessional and would not recommend to anybody
