People can ride elephants only until 11am. I didn't go on an elephant only because I felt sorry for them.Written 9 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Yudhajit P14 contributionsIt was a very memorable experience here with my family in October 2024. Everyone had a great time feeding and petting the elephants and giving them a shower. Being a family full of animal lovers, we really liked the chance to interact closely and spend time with the elephants for so long. This was a very unique experience.
We can't praise and thank Ankit and his team enough for making our visit so memorable and hospitable.Written 4 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The temple is dedicated to the deities Lakshmi and Narayana, the divine powers in hindu religion. The environment of the temple is peaceful and serene and is quite suitable for people to visit anytime safely. The architecture is magnificent and is made mostly of white marbel, which shows traditional elements and tranquility. The temple is constructed on a particular height to provide visiters with great views from the temple. - Harshi G1 contributionAn Uber driver dropped us off at the gallery; I had no idea what to expect inside. However, crossing the threshold into one of the gallery floors, and being warmly welcomed by Mr. Mohit, I entered another world, another era. The paintings, overwhelming at first because of their sheer numbers and sizes, soon demanded a closer and more introspective inspection. From thereon began a feast for the senses. From religious to modern, from esoteric to everyday, each piece of art, in whatever style, invited me to delve into stories told and untold, presented with a bold choice of colors that splashed on the canvas in fascinating combinations to result is art like I've never seen before.
A must see for all visitors to Jaipur. I wish I had had more time to admire the gallery, and anxiously await my next visit.Written 10 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JdsilvermanSt. Albans, UK93 contributionsWe had a spare hour or so and decided to head to Monkey Temple. There were some poor reviews so we were concerned but we really enjoyed our visit. It's an intriguing place. We were blessed by a monk in a small ritual, albeit he did ask for a 'donation', but since there is no entry fee, we didn't mind at all.
The monkeys were not aggressive, and there were not too many hawkers. It is somewhat dilapidated, but that shouldn't put you off. It's worth a trip if you have time.Written 24 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
