If you are visiting India, then Elefun is a MUST experience. As a solo traveller, I was a little apprehensive but everyone is so welcoming and accommodating. The staff are very knowledgeable and really care about their elephants. The whole ethos of Elefun, is their welfare and welbeing. After hearing about the work they do and about your elephant, you are introduced to them through feeding. This way you form a unique bond. You can ride the elephant but I chose to walk with mine. They love being painted, which was a first for me and a real bonus. Drinks and lunch was provided with my package. I totally recommend this experience and hope to return again. Thankyou Aftab for a time I will never forget ♥

Recommended by my uncle who visited this amazing place in November we booked elesafari for their pink city along with the elephant interaction program. We were picked up early in the morning from our hotel to make sure we cover most of the places and also have plenty of time to meet the elephants. The chauffeur assigned was a decent man who spoke good enough english to explain to us about Jaipur city and its history. We were allowed to explore places at our own comfort and were never hurried upon.
He even took to a nice restaurant for lunch.

The experience at the sanctuary with the elephants was a dream come true for an animal lover like me. It was so touching to see that ILU and his entire team are treating elephants like their family and the commendable work they are doing for their welfare. You can see the commitment of the entire team right from the moment you enter the sanctuary. The name of our elephant was Payal and oh boy! She was a sweetheart. Couple of hours wnet like a zap with Payal pampering her.

I recommend booking directly through ILU as it's very smooth and he is very fast in answering queries. Also the price of the Elephant interaction program along with Jaipur tour is very pocket friendly with top class service

Even though it’s a little trip out of Jaipur we thought it was worth it, enjoyed a few hours there, the monkeys are good value particularly the baby ones, which you can have all hanging on your arms and shoulders if you wish.
The Temples and other buildings could do with some refurbishment but that’s part of the point in having people visit to generate money to help keep the place.
A nice few hours and you could visit the Sisodiya Rani Gardens on the way which is also a really beautiful place.

A gem hidden in the village of Amer not far from the fort. Would be a miss to not make the effort if close by. So much history, and beautiful exhibits in a restored building. When we were there, there were two craftsmen showing their work.

It is a very old step well which was used for water storage. It's a 200ft deep well used for water storage during ancient times. It's worth the visit on your way to Amber Fort. The beautiful stairs that seem to never end gives you very good view. If you are photo freak then you can click lot of pictures. Movies like "Jai Vikraanta" and "Dabangg 3" were shooted here.

For a long time I was travelling for the sake of ticking boxes and it was hard to come across something meaningful during my travels. when I found out about Rusirani village and the measures they take to ensure they are following a sustainable form of travel while also supporting education for the girls of the village, I knew I had to visit this place. a short bumpy ride around Sariska tiger reserve led us to the village where we were met by the most wonderful host who served us fresh, hot authentic Rajasthani lunch. Thanks to Mr. Girdhar and his lovely wife, Pinky who arranged this wonderful visit for us and guided us through the history that surrounds the area. it was surely an afternoon I will never forget. if there is one place in western India, I would suggest more people visit or at least be aware of, it would be Rusirani Village.

You know when you’re trying to find a particular place, and you find it, and it lives up to your expectations, this is that place. They have an impeccable selection of ham, printed textiles, and other goods with exceptional quality we were helped by Rajesh, he was extremely knowledgeable And helpful and not pushy at all.

The prices here are more than you would pay at other places, but the quality can’t be matched. We bought everything from tablecloths, robes, dresses, and table runners do yourself a favor and visit this place you will not be disappointed.

Forget the gym, climb 365 steps to spiritual enlightenment (and killer views) at the Garh Ganesh Temple! This hidden gem, perched on a hill near Nahargarh Fort, offers a unique experience. Unlike most Ganesh statues, this one depicts him as a child, symbolizing innocence and new beginnings. It's a tranquil escape from the city bustle, with stunning panoramas of Jaipur and the Aravalli hills.
