He was very kind and we absolutely got more out of the trip that we could possibly have done independently. The fort was amazing and Jai went above and beyond. The kids call him the cowboy and still talk about him. Pink City Guide also arranged a private taxi for a separate trip which was also brilliant, our driver was great, very good value and extremely helpful. - becky kAtlanta, GA7 contributionsWe had a great time on this tour! Our driver was Sonu - we recommend him highly! He picked us up each day on time, communicated the schedule, and he was amazing in the often-crazy India traffic. He drove safely and never seemed bothered by chaotic traffic. We enjoyed the tours in each city and we never felt rushed. We had a different guide in each city and they were all friendly and knowledgeable. I am especially thankful to Raj in Agra. He saw that I have some difficulty walking (I use a cane) so he suggested hiring a wheelchair and someone to push it for our Taj Mahal tour. He even asked the man to meet us at Agra Fort so I had a wheelchair there also. It made the visits much more enjoyable; Raj is not only a very good tour guide but he made the extra effort to make me comfortable. - MDR10 contributionsAfter a late night-early morning celebrating Diwali in Jaipur, we were a little late in meeting our guide Mudassir for our walking tour.
We had a wonderful relaxed trip as we wandered to the various sites of interest, but it was the storyline and perspective that Mudassir provided that was the real gem. A software engineer who has found and shared his passion for the intricacies and nuances of an Indian society and culture that is so diverse and multi-faceted.
We sampled the delights of typical street food, found strategic vantage points for photos and broad discussions and came away better informed with many areas triggered for further exploration. As well as this context we gained insights into a variety of Jaipur ‘must-sees’ which allowed us to effectively plan our itinerary for the following days.
Mudassir shared his knowledge, personality and reflected many of the positives of India in a humble, engaging and awe inspiring way. The tiger safari was incredibly exciting - during the afternoon, we were lucky enough to spot four tigers! - Paradise67712824 contributionsKiran met me in the morning, I had no idea what an amazing day I was about to have! Kiran is a beautiful soul from Jaipur who passionately and enthusiastically showed me the wonders of Jaipur. Kiran’s knowledge of the history and architecture of Jaipur is plentiful and certainly not boring. Nothing was too much trouble, Kiran did not rush me around the amazing city, palaces or temples, the tour was carried out at my pace, which is refreshing having spent the previous 10 days doing many tours in Mumbai, Pune and Goa with a pace that often felt rushed and/or tick boxing 10 mins here and there just to grab a photo. Kiran took many beautiful photos and videos of me whilst I meandered the many sites on the tour in a very discreet manner.
I cannot praise Kiran and her tour format enough, after a long hot day in Jaipur I felt totally relaxed and peaceful which to my mind is entirely down to Kiran and her beautiful personality. Kiran was my tour guide this morning at the beginning of my Jaipur tour, this afternoon I am fortunate to call her my friend.
