What travellers are saying
- Annette B1 contributionAmazing experience with Padma and elefantastic.
Padma's handlers Shoiab and Nasir ensured we had a wonderful time getting to know, feeding, washing & walking Padma & telling us all about the elephants that Elefantastic has rescued.
Vicky, Raul and their team have changed the lives of these amazing creatures.

The elephant seems happy and free and the caretaker give them very good care. Would recommand to anyone who visit Jaipur for this special experience.Written 6 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HasssnaaainnssDubai, United Arab Emirates1 contributionElesafari without any second thought was the best experience we did in India with the lovely giants. A peaceful afternoon with the friendly elephants in a natural environment is something I think everyone should be a part of. Also to our luck we were the only people there when we visited which further added more personal touch to our bonding with our elephantsWritten 17 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kethrin1 contributionMe and my friends wanted to have an experience with elephants. But we were very doubtful if it was a good idea to do that or we should avoid that. But from my first email the caretaker gave us all the information and what we will be doing that and how they keep elephants and why they have elephants. Also we read it on their website which was right. When we went there we had an amazing and very emotional experience. The elephants were very well taken care of and looked after. The staff and the care taker were very kind to give us all the information and answers to all our questions. I would really recommend this place to visit . It was worth of our time and money.Written 6 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Angela BMadison, WI97 contributionsWe wanted to visit a place that was ethical in its treatment of animals and our tour operator, Kensington Tours, found this sanctuary. We had a wonderful visit with two elephants and a camel. We were thrilled to participate in feeding the elephants & camel and do a nature walk with one of the elephants. After, dinner was provided and felt like a personalized experience as there were about four other guests there. This was a fantastic addition to the trip and we were glad to support this organization!Written 22 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Odyssey15421281091Jaipur, India2 contributionsWalking with elephants can be a more ethical and sustainable way to interact with these magnificent animals compared to traditional elephant riding experiences. Many sanctuaries and responsible tour operators offer opportunities for visitors to walk alongside elephants in their natural habitat, observing them and learning about their behavior and conservation.
These experiences often focus on education, allowing participants to gain insight into elephant biology, behavior, and the challenges they face in the wild. Walking with elephants can provide a more intimate and respectful encounter while also supporting ethical elephant conservation efforts.
If you're interested in participating in a walk with elephant experience, I recommend researching reputable sanctuaries or tour operators that prioritize the well-being and conservation of elephants. Look for organizations that promote ethical treatment, positive reinforcement techniques, and conservation education. Always prioritize the welfare of the animals when seeking out these experiences.Written 25 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlyJ105Port Talbot, UK69 contributionsVery large sanctuary, We were not lucky enough to see the wild elephants only what they left behind but a lot of deer and monkeys. We walked over 10k with a guide at 6am to see the sun rise. Throughly enjoyed, beautiful pictures with sun rising through the trees and the rising mist.Written 22 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
