What travellers are saying
- Vijay N1 contributionExcellent collection of artwork at Mukesh Art Gallery. Indian and local artist works in abundance, you will need to put aside atleast 2 hours to plan your visit, because there is so much to see.
Mukesh is an excellent host, he spends time understanding what you require and has many options to show you. Mukesh also brings excellent knowledge of art and artists from the region. Must visit for anyone interested in buying art in Jaipur.Written 8 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They repaired my Cartier ring absolutely beautifully and did'nt even charge me. You can't tell that the ring was ever broken.
They have a beautiful range of jewelry and I will definitely be returning to have a bespoke rind made.Written 16 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. No doubt the artists we could admire have a real talent. Moreover, Mr Tanzeem Haider, the manager, commented every painting for us so as we could understand better the point of view of the artists. It was a great moment thanks to MrT.Haider, a very nice man, very well educated and who can speak a quite good English. We highly recommend this gallery. We exchanged informations so as we can make this beautiful place widely known to the public.Written 21 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rosie Anderson2 contributionsThis is a lovely museum, arranged over three galleries and an additional upper level. On our visit, there were photographs, jewelry, embroidered textiles, marble carvings, and tribal art on display. Pictures are allowed.
Admission is free! The guards (docents?) are very friendly, and as a foreign traveler to Jaipur it was pure luxury to wander in peace and quiet and absorb the exhibits. The displays were interesting, beautiful, spare, and refreshing after the other tourist attractions.
In addition to being a lovely place to visit during a free moment, the museum’s goal is to help keep indigenous arts alive by showcasing various pieces from different tribes and regions. Support them with a visit!Written 25 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VivekJaipur, India2 contributionsLavin, the son of the owner is the most humble jeweler we have ever met. We visited Punisha Gems in Feb when we were touring the JLF Show. We were recommended by our friend who is from Jaipur. The moment were entered the warm hospitality was palpable. Personal attention without being pushy, made it a wonderful experience. We had shopped in branded stores in Delhi which boast international stars and athletes as their ambassadors but would not measure up to this Shop in Jaipur!Written 29 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stay178562118511 contributionWorst business company, avoid at all cost ! I placed my wholesale order in April, we are now in late November and I still haven't received it, I have paid on the day of my order because they insisted on it and now I still have nothing for my shop. I paid 36 000 rupees. I am a small company myself. They are ghosting me, telling lies, saying they will send next week, for the last 7 months ! Don't make business with this company they cannot be trusted ! And they complained that I didn't order enough !Written 26 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Passport606076542261 contributionWorst place ! Donot visit
The drivers take their cut from the place and they recommend to go there . It’s not historical , it’s just like a fun selfie place made for kids . It’s not for sightseeing . Some random kiddish stuff inside . Be careful of drivers taking you there . All are cheaters
Be careful of all drivers in Jaipur . Research everything on ur own before u go ( like distance price ). They really loot on ur money and timeWritten 7 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a great day with Raja who drove us to the sights we knew we wanted to see and he suggested some others. He showed us a fantastic place for street lunch of samosas .
We felt very safe and Raja was always waiting for us with a smile.Written 7 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
