The Albert Hall museum Jaipur is Great place for those who have keen interest in historical things. You will get all the historical items and ancient time products and a lot of information about history. You can also find a mummy. It looks great during night.

IMPRESSIVE. Exceed expectations in every way. Highly recommend

A lot of museums have tons of things to display but don't know how to tell stories. That's not the case with Anokhi museum. They know what they're doing.

    ***

Easy access by public transportation. A short flat walk from Amer fort.

They combined the gorgeous space with beautiful examples and good storytelling.

History of old days, visualized and detailed methods and material, importance, examples, reimagining and surviving in modern-day, comparison, demonstration, workshop... you name it. Here you have it all. Plus proper info signage

Some areas can use a little more light, stairs - not elderly/wheelchair friendly but overall is nice. User friendly, Better (by far the best) than most museums here. Whoever work for this deserve a raise and a big clap

The Museum shop is also very nice. I got some great books and textiles from them

Unlike other wax museums that mostly propogate film celebrities structures, Jaipur Wax Museum was a delightful change! Wax Structures of inspiring lives from history, politics, sports, culture and science decorate the #jaipurwaxmuseum.

Recently visited for the second time. Very good group exhibition spread over a few rooms and a solo exhibition in others. Got to meet one of the artists and observe another doing some work. Great to see such a fantastic space for local artists to show their work.

Food looked good at the cafe. There was also a performance in the amphitheatre.

Highly recommend a visit for anyone interested in the arts.

Make sure you leave sufficient time to explore this museum. It took us five hours to see what most interested us. Its interactive and walk through displays are excellent. To start with i will put down points as how it went.

    1. The moment you enter it doesn't look like less than a palace. The big door at the entrance equipped with a traditional door lock will make you feel the ancient times. Once you enter a pure silver studded cart which was standing to the right and looked very impressive.

    2. The welcome and hospitality by the staff is really good and the descriptive tour was just like cherry on the cake. Even if you don't know or may not have interest in the ancient jewelry and artifacts. You will start taking interest as the artifacts kept inside it are real and have been restored.

    3. The architecture and planning alongwith design to place the artifacts was done well and by professionals. As every piece of information is written well about the artifacts which will show the rich culture of india including tribal which is the highlight here.

    4. Amrapali Museum is one of its kind and a unique and new concept added to the tourism of Rajasthan and one must visit the place to experience it in person.

Did i tell you the audio guide facility is also provided which will give more insights on the artifacts placed.

Let me know in the review section what you think about it as and when you visit the place.

This is a small hidden gem, located midway between Birla Mandir and Albert hall museum (on the right side as you walk). Local people also know this by name of “Gudiyaghar”. It is part of a school, and easy to miss. There is a small board painted on the wall. Very nice collection and Most of the local people are not aware of this. The ticket cost 10 Rs.
Nice collection of dolls from all over the world. Worth a visit.

My husband and I stopped in here during our full day tour of Jaipur and were blown away by how beautiful and shimmery the space was, the amount of detail that went into the design of the shop was astounding. We were able to learn about the gemstone cutting and jewelry making processes and I thought it was very unique, unexpected, and interesting after seeing so many palaces and forts. I loved how different this experience was! I found a dainty emerald ring that I really liked but it was about $500 so I passed, as we were not prepared to be spending big bucks on the fly. It was worth going anyway and having the private tour, as we got to see and hold gems in their raw, natural form, learn about the zodiac signs and coordinating stones, and look around the gorgeous jewelry store that was covered in gems and beautiful painted details. If you’re looking to buy jewelry in Jaipur and are prepared to spend some money I would recommend doing it here. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
