- Bozeman-DublinTrim, Ireland11,386 contributionsPart of the City Palace, this magnificent hall was where state meetings and ceremonies took place.
It's one of the few places in the Palace where photography is disallowed so I've nothing to show for being there, but it's beautiful.
There are opulent thrones, beautiful carpets and impressive mirrors inside as well asxtriphies won...I think for yachting, but I'm open to correction.
If you do a tour of the Palace it will include this hall as it is one of the most important, if not THE most important parts of the City Palace.Written 7 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a universal entry ticket which applied to about 10 different sites across and outside of Jaipur and this tower was one of the sites included. We began to climb the circular ramp up the tower and were mesmerized about how long and claustrophobic the climb was. I am still scratching my head as to how a structure like this was ever built... it was simply impressive beyond words. Once we arrived at the tower top I was slightly disappointed with the view which I thought would be more impressive. I really thought the sites from the top would be more impressive but it seemed a bit bland to me. Nonetheless, I would enthusiastically endorse a visit and climb up this tower. We were lucky that there were minimal crowds with us during the visit which would have been difficult given the small space at the top.Written 6 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Aswathi CNashville, TN52 contributionsAMAR JAWAN JYOTI
The Amar Jawan Jyoti, or the ‘flame of the immortal soldiers’, is a memorial dedicated to the martyrs of Rajasthan. This memorial is situated near Jaipur’s Vidhan Sabha Bhawan (Legislative Assembly). The key attraction of the Amar Jawan Jyoti is that the torches at the four corners of the structure are always burning. In evenings, this formidable structure is attractively lit up in vivid colours. The brilliant lighting effects make this a picturesque spot a favourite with tourists.Written 2 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - UMESHGOYALJaipur, India47 contributionsI visited the gallary on saturday. It is a newly developed visit place and people also donot know about it. In this Gallery , the various ancient sculptures recovered from many location of Rajastha i.e. Bharatpur , Jhalawar , Kota and Jaipur etc.
This collection includes Jain Tirthankars,Hindu god , goddess and dieties. As this art gallery is newly constructed , it gives feelings of cleaniness and calm just as Buddha Caves. The old Water Pond called "Chhoti Chauper Kund" also rebuilted .
Its visited charges are very nominal Rs. 10 For Indian ,Rs. % for Indian student and Rs. 50 for foerigners.Written 7 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a great day with Raja who drove us to the sights we knew we wanted to see and he suggested some others. He showed us a fantastic place for street lunch of samosas .
We felt very safe and Raja was always waiting for us with a smile.Written 7 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
