    The tour was great!
Our guide took us to several different places to taste typical Indian food. It was great to be able to walk through the streets of Jaipur, try the food, and learn more about each of them and the local culture.
    I highly recommend this experience!

We were picked up by Malik right on time from the hotel. Our first stop was to try the local samosas and kachoris and we went to a big shop called Rawat which appeared very popular with the locals. The samosa was delicious and the kachori was hot and fresh from the pan. We also tried a few different sweets. We could pick what we wanted and Malik would get it for us. He was able to explain what was in each type of food.
Then we went to Gulabsi which apparently is a famous chaiwalla in Jaipur. Very pleasant garden setting in which to sip your chai.
We also tried the tandoori chicken at a restaurant called Old Take Away.
Then we went to a street with 4 cart - sellers ( they’re not really stalls) cooking up omelettes ( Indian style with bread) , fried eggs and boiled eggs. Very tasty with the added spices and sauce. This one you eat at the roadside.
Our final stop was to get some kulfi from the ice cream van in the street.
All in all it was a good variety of foods and we wouldn’t have been able to zip round all the places on our own even if we knew where to go. Malik was a good guide and we got dropped off at the hotel. The tour took 3 hours
    Highly recommended

I recently booked a food tour in Jaipur with Vedic walks, and it was one of the highlights of my trip to India! With a love for new cuisines, I was keen to experience authentic Indian food, and this tour delivered beyond my expectations.

Our guide, Pragya was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience so much more than just a "taste test" of local dishes. She shared the history and cultural significance behind every dish we tried, which gave us a much deeper appreciation for the cuisine and the city itself. We visited bustling local markets, hidden food stalls, and some traditional restaurants I never would have found on my own.

The food! Oh my goodness—the flavours were out of this world. We tried everything from spicy kachoris to sweet jalebis. I’m usually careful about street food when travelling, but everything felt safe, hygienic, and carefully chosen. The guide made sure to accommodate any dietary preferences in our group, which I really appreciated.

Thanks to Vedic Walks, Jaipur will always hold a special place in my heart (and stomach)!

    Cheers,
    Emily. :)

Jai was an excellent guide! We had a wonderful time - we got to see a lot of the sights and markets and try food that is otherwise not known to tourists. The block printing session is really good.

What a great way to start the day. No crowds, no traffic and best part is the breakfast tour. We visited many authentic local vendors of City and enjoyed their delicacies.

Masala Tea is the major attraction and we enjoyed
