This was the best experience and perfect amount of learning about block painting, and getting to do it first hand! Everyone loved the tour (even dad)! The guide was awesome, the workers were so kind. I would 100% recommend this tour!

Our family spent a wonderful morning doing a block printing workshop with Mohit and Kunj. Everything was clearly explained, we all chose a different design and there was lots of help and advice to ensure we got the most out of it. We all produced a piece of printed fabric we were proud of! Our children, 9 and 11, very much enjoyed it too. Thank you for a great, fun time :)

On holiday in India from the UK and booked this yoga class/lesson, it was fantastic. I had a great time doing the yoga and learnt a lot from the instructor too, would definitely recommend to beginners and experts alike

This is located close to the city centre which is what we wanted on limited time and lasted approximately 3 hours. Communication after booking was very good.
We were greeted warmly into a beautiful building by Avneet and her daughter. This workshop is fun and creative. We watched the colours being made up with a discussion of where they come from, and then had a lot of practice before having a go ourselves with an item to take home. There is also a very nice shop below the workshop worth visiting. Would very much recommend this workshop.

This was a great introduction to pottery and the process was really clearly explained. It was a really fun, relaxing activity away from the busy main streets of Jaipur!

This was a 10 out of 10 experience! The family was so gracious and helpful. Not only do you learn how to block print on fabric, but you make your own amazing block prints in a small factory, where skilled craftsman are at work. Our six-year-old, 10-year-old, and 12-year-old absolutely loved it, did my wife and I. This is a “don’t miss0 experience.

We are only in Jaipur for a few days and decided to give this workshop a try so we could bring home a nice souvenir. I'm so glad we did! Such a lovely studio space with some brilliant work from the students on display. We spent 2 hours making our clay statues and were able to take them home with us straight away - compared to other pottery courses where you have to wait for pieces to be fired in a kiln. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and we were shown each step of the process (very helpful considering we are both amateurs!). This course is well worth it to take something special home with you and to support a great local business in Jaipur - we would highly recommend :)

The experience offered by Monty and his team is amazing from the begining till the end! We had so much fun learning bollywood dances and a bit more about some cultural indian dances too! And besides the class, all the people envolved in his experience, from his family to his business partners, are amazing, friendly and full of hospitality! We are grateful to chose this experience during our time in Jaipur and totally recommend it!

My mom and I visited Jaipur and decided to take a yoga class. Amit traveled to our hotel and we had a yoga class in the garden. It was an amazing class. I really enjoyed the mix of the physical practice and the breathing exercises. Amit did a great job of explaining everything and was a great teacher. It was so nice having a class for just the two of us, and it was convenient that he traveled to us. It was fun to try yoga in India. 10/10. I would definitely book it again if I ever go back to Jaipur.

I booked that day by phone and WhatsApp and the driver picked us up that afternoon. The teacher was so lovely, patient and encouraging. We were laughing and really enjoying learning the dance. Her mum was warm and friendly, and made a superb chai! They filmed us doing the dance at the end so we’ve got the lasting memory. Great experience!

Going to Bagru was a highlight on my trip to Jaipur. Seeing how the block print fabrics from this village was so interesting. Here is a community who works together to bring us beautiful fabrics. And what a treat to get to try my hand at creating a fabric memory.
If you love block prints, make this a must do!

We had a superlative experience today at Colorbox. Our teacher was so patient, helping a “not so artistic” mom and dad, with three kids (12, 10, six) at different skill levels navigate a traditional Pichwai painting. They were flexible, patient, and the end product was actually something we will put on our wall. Highly highly recommend it.

The meenakari workshop I booked with Rajasthan Studio has been, by far, one of the most fulfilling experiences. This is the best gift I’ve given to both myself and my sis in law; the price was well worth the experience…we both cherished our time with our artist and his family. They were lovely to be around and with. We learned so much about the artist, his art, the history, and the beauty and love for the art deepened within us. Kunal was our guide and we absolutely adored his demeanor and his presence; he shared so much knowledge with us and gave us his time in a wonderfully genuine way. We will be recommending Rajasthan Studio and Kunal to everyone we know. I am sincerely impressed with the founder and owner for creating such a beautiful business that supports artists and his/her local community.

Absolutely amazing experience with Sidhant, Vaibhav and the whole team of Dye it Yourselves (DIY) at Sodhani Biotech. A big shout out to the team for the effort they took in setting up this workshop solely for us and spending the entire day with us answering all sorts of questions.

We chanced upon DIY in TA and initial communication was not very prompt. So we had given up hope and then Vaibhav got in touch and we decided to take the plunge and book a full day workshop for Tie & Dye and hand block printing. Received the location on the prior evening and we set out in an Uber. We ended up somewhere deep inside an industrial belt (at least it felt so) and the internal sceptic (myself) was having a field day ridiculing me for this adventure. Anyway, after a drive that seemed to never end, we reached and was met by Sidhant and Vaibhav. The game changed from that point onwards and boy, we are so happy we went.

Sidhant gave us a very good introduction to natural dyes, their uses etc. and also told us about his entrepreneurial journey. He patiently answered all questions that my 11 year old asked and really made it a pleasant experience.

Vaibhav led us through the workshops, often acting as the interpreter, helper, guide and coach. A big salute to Salim ji who did the Tie & Dye workshop and to Manish ji who did the hand block printing workshop. A huge shoutout to all of them and in particular, to Sidhant, who took time out of his schedule and spent a lot of time through the Tie & Dye workshop. He gave suggestions on colors as well as the use of multi colors to make the outcome look nice.

A big credit to the team that they did not cut any corners throughout the workshop and really allowed us to enjoy the experience thoroughly. Nothing was off limits and they were all working together to make our day memorable.

We understood later that they had stopped doing these workshops of late and our request rekindled it. Really hope that they continue to offer this experience.

To all Jaipur visitors, we would say that this is truly one of the best experiences to avail during your visit.

End of the day we left with cloth bags carrying the designs we created, articles of clothing we ourselves dyed, many packets of natural dyes, lots of knowledge and hearts brimming with happiness.
