Absolutely amazing experience. Enjoyed every minute of it and felt so so welcome into their family home. Lovely people and they just wanted to make our trip the best it could be by giving us any information we needed.

We loved our evening with Shalini and her family. Our neighborhood shopping trip was enlightening-who knew there was a department store behind those modest doors? Her husband was engaging, the boys delightful and the prep partnership with her mother was endearing. My husband was a reluctant participant and he enjoyed the evening as much as I did. The cooking experience was well organized. I still marvel at the process of four people preparing a multi course meal in a small kitchen with no oven and only two burners. But Shalini managed it with grace and ease! The food was delicious. She even accommodated my request for no hot spices. The evening exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my cooking class. We covered a lot, but it was broken down into easy steps to follow (and which will be easy to replicate at home). And best of all, I got to eat it at the end! The family were lovely, and it was such a pleasure to meet them

Shalini taught us how to make Mattar Paneer and Naan and, although we were total amateurs, the outcome was delicious! It was a great time and Shalini was helpful and patient. We had a lot of fun and have already made the recipe again. I would recommend this class!

Me and my girlfriend had a great experience at Shveta’s home where she thought us how to make northern Indian dishes. Can’t wait to put my new skills at practice. Mostly excited about making Roti!

This was one of the highlights of my visit to India.

I was whisked through the country at break-neck speed and never got the opportunity to speak to many people.

I have experienced 'home visits' in other countries - but this was unique in that I felt so very comfortable to ask questions - and to answer those asked of me! It was a thoroughly relaxing experience.

I've always loved Indian cuisine (the meal was delicious) and I am so grateful to Chandrika for her generosity in sharing her tips and her recipes.

I would recommend a visit to anyone.

My friends and I have had a great time cooking with Monty and Hashita! The classes are very well run with lots of local colour and interesting facts and tips. It really is a great way to get away without going anywhere, it feels like we are guests at Monty and Hashita's house and we get to have a fantastic meal afterwards!

My friends and I have found it a great way to connect over something we all love ...food! In a time when we can't go far this has been a welcome get away!

    Thank you :)

We stumbled upon this company and saw the great reviews. So we thought we would give it and certainly lived up to it.
Mohsin is an awesome guide. He took us through many of the back streets of the jaipur where we got to visit the food markets, we got to see how they make mustard oil and we got to venture into the kitchen of a local restaurant. We went to a couple of beautiful place's and learnt much about the history of jaipur. We went through the vegetable market, the marble market (where we got to see how the marble sculptures are made) it was interesting! We sampled some local foods.
I would highly recommend this tour and his company to anyone visiting jaipur.

We had the best time with Shalini and her family. From her going the extra mile to give us directions to welcoming us into her home to sharing conversation with her sweet sons, it was so much more than a cooking class. We felt part of the family. And then there was the food! Every one of the vegetarian dishes were delicious and Shalini was the ultimate host and teacher.

We had booked this class and had no idea what was really behind it. Meeting Durga and his son and being part of their 118 year household in the middle of Jaipur was just awesome.

We are quite experienced cooks, including doing many curries over time, but got some real tips that made so much sense and added real value to our skills. Upside was the meal with a few drinks which are included, particularly being able to share it with Durga and his stories.

Thanks for the experience Durga, highly recommend to all.
