Do visit and learn more about the city, recommend you to visit with a local guide provided by Showcase India Tourism Company for an insight and added inputs to give you a brief idea about its preciousnessWritten 29 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - William SKobe, Japan1,503 contributionsGlad I selected this temple as it is both beautiful and welcoming. It is a sacred place (remember that when you go) deserving of respect as a tourist. Wonderful carvings, people praying, colourful art and statuary. Definitely worth a visit.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Navigate251012669492 contributionsI don't know whether I will be telling something excessively contradictory but I must say we enjoyed and found Babulnath temple more peaceful and gracious than Sidhhi and mahalaxmi temples. One must visit this temple besides of course Sidhhi, Mahalaxmi and mumba devi temples. One can take excellent food just opposite Babulnath temple Soam of I remember correctly.Written 14 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Abovetheclouds2,216 contributionsHad I not been with a local, I would never have known. The design, colours and structure were unique. Active and busy. We managed to see locals performing a ritual prayer when we went. You need to take footwear off to enter.Written 24 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- perky88Wolverhampton, UK270 contributionsIt was ok - nothing special
If part of a tour then ok but not worth a special trip to see it
The “hanging” but it literally a few bushes in a man made overhang
The park itself it just like any other green spaceWritten 1 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This museum showcases history of Indian cinema through recordings, memorabilia, cameras, equipment etc. It is visited by locals and foreign tourists.
The entrance fees are Rs. 75 per Indian adult, Rs. 40 per Indian child, Rs. 500 per foreign adult and Rs. 250 per foreign child. This museum is open from 11 am to 6 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. - Caroline KramerMumbai, India27 contributionsThe water towers are being refurbished and the tank was low on water and pretty grimey but this little corner of Mumbai has a real peace about it. The water towers are very old, as it the tank and there are temples, shrines, houses snd small shops all around. The water and the wind are supposed to be healing. At the moment I would let the water do its thing from afar as even the traditional putting water on your head thing would not be something I would recommend, definitely no jumping in for non locals. There were kids mudlarking, people taking photos, a couple of families sitting and a loud game of cricket at the other end of the pool. Even with the busy-ness of life there is a real calm and peace. Just one of those places. Sit quietly for a few minutes and breathe.Written 28 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - robeygRocklin49 contributionsIf you are in Mumbai checking out the area you should work this in. The most macabre but locally relevant thing we have ever seen. - Voyager_on_earth88Ahmedabad, India71 contributionsBetter than most places in Mumbai. Serene. No-nonsense crowd.
I usually travel for 50ish km to get this kind of a peaceful environment.
Not crowded like sea face or Marine lines, with the same beauty.Written 2 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
